Some of mine are:
TORMENT. I found this one to be utter crap. Poorly written, poorly drawn-none of it made a lick of sense.
DARK KNIGHT RETURNS. I really didn't see the point of this one. Batman came off too megalomaniacal here, & Supes seemed a complete tool.
DARK KNIGHT STRIKES AGAIN. Even less enjoyable or understandable.
KINGDOM COME. Just not entertaining to me at all.
EARTH X. What Ross did to Spider-Man was deplorable. And that was probably the least annoying part of it all.
LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN. Just not my cup of tea, I guess.

Wow. I'm sorry to say this Chris, but, your taste is s**t.

And Dark Knight Strikes Again was never popular.

I refer you to my sig.
I didn't like them. What can I say?

Well, it might not be law, but it's certainly stupid. But that's just my opinion.

The TDK stories, the Hush stories, Kingdom Come, House of M, and recent Skrull Invasion

I'm gonna have to agree about The Dark Knight Returns. I read it, but couldn't see what all the fuss was about. I just didn't like it.

And Preacher. I read the first trade, and just couldn't get into it.

The Irredeemable Ant-Man? I heard all these people raving about Kirkman and his underrated Ant-Man series all the time, but after picking up the first digest, I can see why the series was cancelled after only 12 issues. So no, not a popular series I didn't care for, but was a well-received one I didn't care for.

All-Star Batman & Robin the Boy Wonder is a joke, and I'm fairly certain Miller didn't intend for it to be that way at first.

Kingdom Come is one of the greatest comics ever. FACT. LAW. SCRIPTURE.

But yeah, Hush sucked, pretty art though.

 You have no soul.
That's a unique response. Usually whenever I tell someone I didn't like Preacher, they always tell me "it doesn't get good until the 3rd or 4th trade!" F that! I'm not wading through a couple more trades of story I find boring just so I can get to the parts everyone's been raving about. I work retail. I don't have that kind of money.

I don't feel that way about Preacher. If the first trade didn't draw you in then you obviously have a defective imagination. I'd say you should go buy a new one, but you work retail.

The fact that I can read a book drawn by Chris Bachalo and still decipher what's happening shows that my imagination is just fine.

Can we not be intolerant jerks here? Why must we resort to name-calling just because we see things differently? It irritates the crap out of me. It really does. Respect others' opinions, no matter how strongly you may disagree with them. To do otherwise is immature beyond reasoning.
And I hated the first issue of All-Star B & R so much I immediately dropped the book.

So is everyone who disagrees with you stupid? Is no one allowed to have their own opinion or are only mindless sheep deserving of your respect?

Oh-CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS. I tried to get into this one; I just couldn't.

I felt that way when I said I wasn't into "Invincible" & somebody suggested I start picking up the trades. If I wasn't diggin' it from the outset why should I spend more money?

Anything Superman based. Bores the hell out of me.

I'm not too keen on Final Crisis either, maybe because I haven't gotten into the other Crisis's.

Preacher was boring for me.

And don't worry about Anubis. This guy calls everyone stupid if you don't agree with him or have different views. I think its a defense mechanism to hide his insecurities about his own intelligence-status. ;)

Then go download some issues for free. :o

Invincible really didn't come into its own until the second arc. Not that the first arc is bad, its just that the flowing, multifaceted plotting style Kirkman uses takes a few issues to really get interesting.

Because issue #7 has one of the best plot twists in comic books. Like EVER.

Oh yeah, and Civil War definitely fits the bill for me. I hated it with a passion.

it's just my opinion....not like it's law or anything. Poopy face.

That's also time I'm not willing to invest. I read a Spider-Man/Invincible crossover & nothing about Invincible really won me over, so I'm not gonna bother. To me, a character's either interesting or they're not. And if they're not, I'm not the type to wait around & see if the writer can change my mind.

Seems to me "Civil War" was more controversial than popular. Spider-Man lost his integrity, Cap lost his life-nothing good came out of it IMO.

....because it's funny and no one actually means it?

It's not funny; it's annoying. It gets in the way of discussions that could actually be enjoyable. And I have a difficult time believing NOBODY means it.

You have a point. There are some people around here who do mean it when they say stuff like that. But for the most part, it's just good natured ball busting, comic book geek style. At least, that's my experience.
