Title says it all.

Batman Returns. B89 is "meh" but BR is worse.

Napoleon Dynamite. What exactly was funny about this?

Snakes On A Plane - Hated it before it even hit theatres

I have more, but I will have to think about them.

TITANIC, pulp fiction, POTC movies

Star Wars
The Shawshank Redemption (overrated as ****ing hell)
Lord of the Rings

Oh god, where to begin...

The Matrix trilogy
LOTR trilogy
Saw trilogy
Napoleon Dynamite/ Nacho Libre
Scream trilogy
Spiderman 3
X-Men 3
Star Wars: Episode 1
Titanic

...I'll think of more later.

I don't really "hate" movies.

The only movies I really "hate" are the Charlie's Angels movies which I can't even stand to watch all the way through. Mostly, if I feel that I'm gonna hate a movie, I just never watch it (I.E.: Catwoman, Dreamgirls - I hate me some Beyonce - etc...)

Not really popular, I guess, but I really didn't care for Requiem For A Dream or Lost In Translation. I hate these "outside the box" directors who makes these films with absolutley no plot, or anything else, just for the sake of being different, as if being different automatically makes you better. Sorry, not gonna cut it. Sure, you got some nice acting performances, but seriously, come on, what the HELL was the point?

I agree that Napoleon Dynamite was grossly over-rated. I dunno if I even laughed once through that movie.

Other movies that I come close to hating:

-Blade 2
-Hellboy

(To this point, Guerillmo Del Toro is the WORST director I've had the displeasure of watching a film he made... although I haven't seen it yet, I will give him another chance eventually with Pan's Labyrinth. I hate Del Toro with a passion, but this film could possibly redeem him)

-The Shining

(Seriously, who does Kubrick think he is to absolutley BUTCHER this great story?!)

-Tombstone

(I don't -hate- it, but this is another film that, despite numerous attempts, I just cannot sit through the entire thing)

Oh, and all of those ***damn movies about dance choreography with people "gettin served"-serve this(grabs junk). :cmad:

And I hate any comedy/action movie with rappers in it. Rappers can't act worth a ****, so quit putting them in front of a camera lense. I'm looking at you DMX, 50 Cent, Eminem, Usher, Busta Rhymes, Ludacris, etc...

Batman Begins
Harry Potter movies

This place needs to write an official news story apologizing for over-hyping Sam Raimi's Spider-man movies. They have their moments, especially as far as the villains are concerned, but come on.

hmmmm, popular, popular.... Now I don't hate it, but I do hate that batman begins became so overrated in the same vein as the spidey flicks. It has its issues too.

Pirates 3, indeed, is even more of a bloated mess than 2.

Evil dead. these flicks just suck. I don't know why they're popular besides bruce campbell's charm.

Incredibles. In time people will come to see how underwhelming and paint by numbers this movie really is.

Oh and 300. I can see teens who love mindless violence thinking it's "cool" but really the way some make it out to be some sort of high class work of art, is disturbing to me.

The Prequel star wars films
Titanic and pretty much any musical or dance film :cmad:

- 300
- Batman Begins (don't hate it, but I don't see what the hype is about, Batman Returns remains my favourite)

The "Frat Pack" movies

Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story
Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy
Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby
Old School
Blades of Glory
Wedding Crashers
The 40 year Old Virgin (kinda funny, but not funny enough)
Knocked Up (since when did having an un-expected pregnancy with a fugly stranger become means for comedy? Go get 'knocked up' yourself, then we'll see how funny you think it is.)

I can't stand ANY of those "movies." And I use quotes because they're really not movies...they're garbage...

CFE

Spider-Man 3, anything with Star Wars in the title. Maybe it's a little too strong to say I hate them, but I just find these movies extremely mediocre.

- Spider-Man 3
- Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
- Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
- Star Wars - Episode II: Attack of the Clones
- Titanic (I thought it was a good film, but not worthy of all of the awards/buzz that it received, and did not deserve to be the #1 film of all-time.)

i dont hate it, but I feel Equilibrium is vastly overated. bog stanmdard future distopia story, with an illogical martial art that people seem to wet themselves over, when in execution its full of holes.

"statistical analysis of gunplay has let to optimum blah blah," basically boiled down to "stand in the middle of the room, whilst the untrained and frightened people dont just mindlessly spray the room with hot lead, obliterating you in the process, but instead follow our statistical patterns". tosh. utter utter tosh.

the only time it actually looked any good was when they had the close quarters bit with Bale and Angus macfaddyen. both slapping each others gun arm out of the way whilst trying to get the drop on the other. that was extremely groovy.
