Portman, as someone mentioned before, is too "cute." She's just too sweet-looking. Even after her transformation in V and even during her "gangsta" rap while hosting SNL. She was just too adorable.


Kate Beckinsale is Talia Al Ghul. End of story.


The only possible choice for the RIGHT kind of Catwoman is Angelina Jolie.


Oh, and about her being to "high profile," obviously the Sin City people don't think so. And don't think that her star status would hurt the movie.

Passing resemblance, maybe. But Portman is not the deadly kind of sexy Catwoman is and that Jolie exudes.


In fact, Portman strikes me more as Harley Quinn. It'll never happen, but it's an interesting thought.

Jim Lee's Catwoman (IMO the perfect Catwoman) does not have that deadly kind of sexy either - she looks just like Natalie Portman.

That's where I disagree. When I first read Hush, I thought that his Catwoman looked quite a bit like Jolie.

What I also like about Portman is that she just always seems to me to be a very strong woman - look at her role in Leon. She is a fantastic actress and I think would be a fantastic leading lady for the Batman franchise.

I just can't see Portman as Catwoman.

I don't care who it is as long as it isn't Jolie. A sex-object has no business crapping-up the role of a mature, deadly and intelligent woman like Selina Kyle. I don't want people to go see a Bat film because of a sexpot, I want them to see the film on it's own merits. Michelle Pfeiffer was beautiful but had an intelligent look to her, she wasn't all boobs and lips.

I want a beautiful woman. Not a "hott" one. There is a difference.
