the early concept of venom is badass i hope he looks as badass as he does there in the movie, i hope thats the one they are using.

as for the night surfer, it looks like a pretty cool costume, i know it's not the same but i don't mind it, i just wished they would have kept to the same glider which i don't think anyone really had a problem with in the original film

Harry can always be Goblinised for Spidey 4, if he survives Spidey 3.

I think i said in that thread that he may only be regarded as teh night surfer as a joke line in the bugle by urich or jameson, that's all i can remember saying and that was WAAAAY into the topic.

4 consecutive goblin apperances would definitely be too much, this is harry's and norman's last chance to shine, it's now or never...

it looks that some people dont get somethng. the pic of venom is not an early concept. this is a full rendered pic. it was obviously made in some 3d software. i would say maya like all spiderman promo pics.

why would someone make a detailed 3d model of venom with extreme detailed texture only for a concept pic?

Good Lord, that´s why studios often ignore fanboys... here´s a design that perfectly captures the look of Venom and it gets booed over a frikking patch on his hand - which is not necessary anyway cuz there aren´t webshooters in the movie franchise, Spidey didn´t need the patch on the black costume, neither does Venom...

- Venom : Perfect ! He looks exactly like in the comics and I like the idea of the web on his body, I really dig that !

- Sandman : Looks good, not so amazing, but I believe he will be better on the big screen.

- Harry Osborn : That's a huge surprise ! The suit looks really good, I like the fact that he is not the Green Goblin 2 or Hobgoblin (it would have beeen a reashing of the first GG). Harry IS the Night Surfer and that's definitly work !

Okay, I rarely post in the movie forums because I like to see the films and be suprised, but I had to drop in and comment:

Venom looks awesome. I know this may not be what we get, but if it's even close, I'll be ecstatic!!

Sandman is a no-brainer. He looks just like the comic version. Well done.

Harry...I'm not too keen on, but I wasn't too keen on the original Goblin costume eithr, and it didn't prevent me from enjoying the film (and the character) to the fullest.

So far, so good. I'm looking forward to catchign the trailer on Thursday!!

Please, everybody, remember that Sam Raimi said at Comic-Con that Harry becomes neither GG2 nor HGoblin, but uses his father's technology to go after Spider-Man.

i know! it totally bites. but other than that, i'm really happy with the way he looks.

i'm curious to see how he shoots his web. i hope that they still make it come from the back of his hand, even though he doesn't have the patches.

a hood wouldnt look good, the paint ball mask harry has is fine with me, i think sam was trying to do something diffrent with harry, remember, harry and norman [even though they are father and son] are not the same person, my question is, will harry take the human performance formula that norman did in spidey1, we need to see how agile harry is on the glider, his father was really agile, in the teaser harry looked like he was very agile on the glider, we will just have to wait and see, by the way, i love harrys new suit.
