So far in Gokaiger, all the past sentai members seem to be alive. Only their powers are lost, but they're still on Earth as civilians. MagiRed (Mystic Force Red) appears in episode 3.

Gokaiger so far has been consistently entertaining, but the same can't be said about PR Samurai. I'm really looking forward to Ban, Jasmine, and Doggie from Dekaranger in ep 5.

Yeah i caught that in the episode before, when they were in search for the man in black the whole episode, couldnt find the right person, and magired appeared at the end, it was pretty cool. So all of the rangers are still on earth? Hmm that'd be interesting if they did that here in U.S, i think imo it'd be cooler if the rangers had spread out to protect other planets as well, and communicate every now and then for updates. So there's only one or two rangers still on earth.

Oh and quick question as well, there is in fact a 6th ranger in gokaiger? I didnt know if it was just a rumor or something. That'd be really cool and weird to see some else besides Tommy being able to turn into both the white and green ranger. Possibly with the old "hut-seat-he-yaw!" t:

Like I said if they want Tommy to be Green they can go back in time & bring back Wild West Ranger Clone Tommy that still had an active Green Power Coin. Hell like SPD they can go back in time & bring past younger Rangers in their old Suits & then erase their memory at the end before sending them back to their time. The trick would be never to see the younger versions faces

Cutting out MMPR Green & White just seems wrong & the rest of Turbo. I guess what they can do is bring back clone Tommy from Wild West who stayed in the past since he still had the Coin & he gets brought to the future to the & Clone Tommy can be Green Ranger & original Tommy White & Rocky can be one of the other Reds & just say a new guy replaced Tommy as Black Dino after he retired or something

I brought this exact idea up a couple pages ago. Though I suggested Clone Tommy's offspring/grandhcild etc.

The Japanese film distributor Toei announced during its 2011 lineup press conference on Wednesday that it will release a film tentatively titled Super Sentai 35-Saku Kinen Sakuhin on May 21. The film will assemble 199 heroes from every team in the live-action special-effects Super Sentai franchise — from the original 1975-1977 Himitsu Sentai Goranger to this year's Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger. A separate film, Tensō Sentai Goseiger vs. Shinkenger Epic on Ginmaku, is opening in Japan this Saturday with the heroes from the 33rd and 34th Super Sentai entries. Anime and manga pioneer Shotaro Ishinomori launched the costumed hero franchise with Himitsu Sentai Goranger. In the United States, Power Rangers Samurai, an American remake of the 33rd Japanese Super Sentai series Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, will premiere on the Nickelodeon channel on February 7.

Toei will also mark the 40th anniversary of Ishinomori's live-action Kamen Rider franchise with two films this year. OOO - Den-O - All Riders Let's Go Kamen Rider will assemble the Kamen Rider characters from the recent entries in the franchise on April 1. On August 6, the newest Super Sentai and Kamen Rider series will cross over in the Gekijō-ban Kamen Rider OOO/Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger film.

I've lost focus on getting ShinkenRed because I've been so adamant on getting the Mobirates but I still have no luck. Maybe I'm not looking in all the right stores? I've tried CSToys, HLJ, and AmiAmi but came up with nada.

OMG...that is just...all kinds of awesome...I WISH AND HOPE...PR will attempt something on that level one day. Such a rich history in Sentai...wow.

I think going resorting back MMPR is hurting Samurai. It had so much potential to be one of the more mature Power Rangers series but it just seems like a retooled MMPR with different rangers and zords. I really can't remember a Power Rangers series being so cheesy since MMPR. I'm also not feeling Samurai because it's taking so much storywise from Shinkenger so I know what's going to happen in each episode. I would have been happy with an adaption from Shinkenger's story if the Samurai wasn't buried in the MMPR nostalgia factor, it just doesn't mesh well together.
