I thoroughly enjoyed reading that article. Epic isn't enough to describe properly wrapping up 11 seasons with all the characters and story lines. Jason was my favorite Ranger. Watching him battle Tommy in the Green With Evil Saga defined my early childhood. I was devastated when he left the show.

I really wish they'd make a space-themed Sentai. Dinosaurs have so been done.

Man, those outfits really look overdone. Design wise, Zyuranger and Abaranger were instant classics. But those just look ugly.

and the Second season....Aisha, Rocky, Adam....

After that, the series just went downhill...............

For me, it started in Season Two. I should have known something bad was going to happen when Jason, Zach, and Trini's voices started to sound different when fighting.

Then Tommy became leader which hit me hard, AND then Jason, Zach, and Trini left. Devastated my childhood. LOL!

I don't think the series went completely downhill from that point. Power Rangers in Space and Power Rangers: Time Force were both great series to me, not to mention that the latter had some of better acting out of all of them.

I agree that, after that, the series did seriously start to go downhill, with the exception of all the team-ups and Forever Red. Those were awesome.

Ya I think it went downhill at the middle if turbo but picked back up at the end and went downhill after LG till time force.

Though I found aishas depsrture to be weak and would've preferred if Kim had stayed till the end of season 3 or in a perfect world had stayed till turbo.

I get why the writers made Tommy leader, to cash in on Tommy's popularity. But to me storywise, it makes no sense for Zordon to make Tommy leader as soon as he became the White Ranger. They could have at least waited untill after Jason left to make Tommy leader.

Agreed Power Rangers: In Space IMO brought PR back from the dead. Power Rangers : Turbo (after Tommy and the gang from Zeo left) the series went down hill. The newbie rangers, along with Dimitria and Alpha 6 were terrible addition to series. I will admit I loved the series finale when these Rangers got the ass handed to them brutally by Divatox and her army. Because they deserved to get beaten, These Rangers grew and were much better "In space" under the leadership of Andros that I grew to love them as Rangers and they right up their with the original 6 and Zeo Rangers.

If Austin hadn't left they probably wouldn't have made tommy leader since I believe it was just adr'ed in.

Tommy was just cooler than Jason and fans respond to him, heck I still think he's still the greatest Ranger who ever lived . No one has come close to him in the 20 years of Rangers.

Which is funny because I remember before Tommy came on the show, which wasn't too long, mostly everyone thought Jason was the cool one.

Agreed. They should lose that stupid shoulder pad and the drawing of the dinosaur on their chest. Perhaps slim down the diagonal so that it doesn't stand out THAT much. Maybe even make it horizontal, PRIS-style.
