Prince of Persia:The Sands of Time

The 2 new featurettes are brilliant, really looking forward to this.

That actress must have a fun life.
What with a permanently mysterious sounding voice and all.

Any pics of products? I mean the movie comes out in less then 5 months. We should be starting to see things by now.

WHAT THE HELL.....thats so depressing. I cant believe how far McFarlane Toys has fallen. Jesus Christ. :(

6" Dastan looks okay, but not seeing a lot of Jake Gyllenhaal in the likeness.

Still, I'll pick up the regular 6" Dastan figure. Easy pass on the others, although I would have been tempted by a 6" figure of the characters played by Gemma and Ben.

Cheers.

I saw some similarities in the hair and facial hair. The facial bone structure looks a bit alike too..it is always hard to make the action figure look exactly like the actor.

Don't worry, those are only the prototypes.
You dont understand...this is McFarlane. They made some of the best action figures ever from 1998(?) to 2004. It went down hill after that point. Compare their stuff now, to then. It's insane.

O really?

And it will look just like that when it comes out.

Before I sold them all(took up too much room and just didn't want to collect them anymore)I had sooo many of Mcfarlane's figures.

Minus the Spawn, sports, Simpsons and anime stuff I literally had all of the others. His Movie Maniacs was the best. There was so many characters he still could have made but stopped that line. Pissed me off, that to me is when he started to go a bit downhill.

What month does this film come out anyway?

Memorial Weekend in the US.

I read an article months ago about them downsizing and shutting down one of their offices because of the economy so that probably explains it.

Really? Wow. So sad. I know the economy sucks...but still. I can't help but feel bad.
