Prometheus - Part 5

From what I'm hearing, the movie is R-rated and Scott's frustration with the MPAA is they aren't giving it a PG-13. It doesn't seem like he's making any cuts to get it a PG-13 according to the MPAA. One source says that there's one scene that is so horrifying and graphic that cutting it out would ruin the film.

I had no idea this was Prometheus in this image! His arms are tied down and his liver has been ripped out! I thought that was where an alien ripped though until I noticed the hands being lashed down. So the Greek myth in this film definitely came from these beings.

And then he gets angry that it probably won't get a PG-13? :woot:

I can just imagine Japanese trailer guy yelling PROH-MEEE-THEOOS! repeatedly.

Just saw the trailer for Prometheus on the big screen again. I would really like Fox to do a special early screening of this movie for me like The Avengers did. Not a hundred percent sure I can't wait till June

yes Devin Faraci from badassdigest. the guy has good sources.

^Usually, unless it comes to Batman, in which case his source is SSH Batboards.

No lie.

I'm not surprised, going by what has been released so far, I'd find it very hard to believe that this film could get a PG13 rating. I'm fairly certain of what scene they are referring to as well and I'd back the MPAA up on that.

So, that's a second viral dedicated to David. Yet the trailers make him look like he's just this film's equivalent to Bishop. I have a feeling there's more to the character than just another good guy who dies, or even more to him than an Ash style heel turn. Maybe he'll be the sole survivor?

I didn't think it ended abruptly. It was essentially a commercial and the the last part just says the products tagline.

Just like any other commercial selling a product usually does.

When I watched it first, it cut to the end before the bit where he painted the action figure.

Pretty awesome viral campaign. I really liked this video especially.

I'd also like to see what his relationship with the Space Jockey is going to be seeing as we've seen in the trailer the SJ casually strolling behind David while he looks enamored with that holographic starmap on the derelict.

I was not ready for that level of acting so early in the morning but mods excuse me for this......GOD DAMN. Fassbender is rapidly becoming one of my newer favorite actors.

I'm with you guys. Fassbender is already knocking this role out of the park. ;)

Fass is the best at almost everything. we got so lucky that hollywood gave him so many good roles.
