Woah, that shot was in an IMAX trailer but in HQ [BLACKOUT]he looks fcked up as hell[/BLACKOUT]. Anyway for those who seen trailers frame by frame it is not a "spoiler" really. I get goosebumps when I hear the trailer guy go through Scotts past films "From the director of Alien, Blade Runner, and Gladiator" . Really boosts up the already grandiose feeling of this movie.

If this film does end up being Rated R, and if it is a box office success, I wonder if that will give Universal confidence to move forward with GDT's At the Mountains of Madness.

Del toro will not get burned again. if before preproduction he doesnt get a 100% confirmation that he can make it as R rated he will not do it. for this to happen Prometheus would have to become the second biggest summer movie. because Universal wouldnt change their mind in 1 year only because Prometheus made ''some'' money. it would have to become a HUGE hit.

Del Toro needs to just calm down and wait for 5-7 years so that the technology becomes cheaper. there is no reason to make it now.

Anyone know where that landscape is from the beginning of the trailer? Or to put it another way, anyone know where they shot the exteriors for this movie? That sky-mountain-lake shot was awesome, would like to know where that is.

Is it just me, or do you guys think Charlize Theron's warning to the crew in the TV spot sounded very creepy?

Yeah it was was so direct and cold. Totally devoid of emotion.

There's also that shot of her in the IMAX trailer or the first theatrical trailer. Forget which one (could be both) where she's just creeping in the corridors of the ship.
