That gun is nearly identical to the pulse rifle in Aliens. Awesome.

Is it sad that I still don't trust him?

Tommy boy has gone back on what he's said in the past before. I'll take it with a molecule of salt.

It comforts me that Tom said that, and I never thought anything Tom said would comfort me.

I heard from someone that Prometheus got an R rating for the US, is that true?

I want a gif of David riding a bicycle and swooshing a basketball...

It annoys me how you can hear English in that video but the Russian shuts it out.

BTw guys keep your eyes peeled this sunday a new(not confirmed is a new one yet) international trailer is coming.

from prometheus movie.com forums

According to BrandRepublic, UK Channel 4 Television will be airing a new Prometheus trailer if I read it correctly. Or will feature the already released Prometheus trailer and allow for users to "Tweet" via Twitter their responses in a new form of advertisement for the film.

Channel 4 is airing the world premiere of the trailer of Ridley Scott's 'Prometheus' in the first break of 'Homeland' on Sunday (29 April) as part of activity devised by Vizeum.

It will be followed by showing fans Twitter responses in a bespoke ad in the next break.

The film marks a return to the sci-fi genre for the director of 'Alien' and 'Blade Runner'.

The trailer will be broadcast at around 9.10pm. Viewers will be asked to share their thoughts about the film on Twitter using the hashtag #areyouseeingthis.

A selection of tweets will be broadcast during a special 40-second spot in the next ad break.

A spokeswoman for Channel 4 said the second ad break will mark the first time viewers tweets have been shown in a live broadcast ad.

The trailer was made by 20th Century Fox's creative department. A wider marketing campaign, including TV, will kick off closer to the film’s release on 1 June 2012.

Eray Galip, creative solutions manager, Vizeum said: "'Prometheus' is the most anticipated film of the summer. This activity fits perfectly with our strategy in terms of amplifying the anticipation and conversation that has already started."

I sure as hell hope so. I'm so tired of Hollywood post editing these in the board room to get a PG-13 to try and make more money. After the atrocity of two AvP movies at PG-13, they hopefully learned their lesson.

The second AvP was rated R. Rating has little to do with quality.

I could live without an R rating unless there's body horror on the level of Kane giving birth in Alien... and it seems that there will be. I want to see every gruesome detail of that.

Fox shouldn't be wary of an R rating for this film, anyway. If it's as good as the trailers suggest, its success should be on the level of Alien if not surpassing that. Besides, it's rare that movies like this are made these days, and even rarer that they're good. I have a feeling that audiences are hungry for what Prometheus is going to give them.

so the studio should not be afraid because if the movie is good it will make money? since when?:yay:
