lol, Steve Irwin would have gotten facehugged in no time

Ha ha exactly, there ARE people like that in the world.

I cannot wait to own this on blu-ray. I still think it may be my personal favorite film of the summer so far.

Same here, its the movie I havent been able to stop thinking about far more than any this year.

FINALLY

Just got to see this. AMAZING.

I was waiting to be disappointed, given all the reviews Ive seen with pissed off ranters. I was not at all. I sooooooo hope that Scott delivers more. Fassenbeder as David was incredible. That guy is so frikkin money. Noomi's character was also awesome, besides the fact that she is way fun to look at.

I've never seen any of the Alien movie's but I really enjoyed Prometheus. So far It's the best movie i've seen this summer.

I'm gonna go see this again today. Got a gift card to my local theatre I figured I'd use.

Really wish I could see it again, this movie got into my head so much, I just hope it has made enough for a sequel, it is just under $300 million WW at the moment but its cinema run is definately close to an end both domestically and overseas.

It's still a good film, but on my 3rd viewing in theaters the plot holes seems to be more noticeable. How in the **** did Fiefeld get lost if his equipment mapped the entire construct. He knew which way east was, how hard would it be to find the exit?

That's actually one of the things that got me to arch an eyebrow when I first saw the movie. The second I saw them both wandering around, I was like "Uhhh..... wut?"

^To be fair, the guy was obviously unsettled and panicking a bit, in those situations its easy to read a map wrong and take and wrong turn. Dont get me wrong, it wasnt the most intelligently thought out part of the movie, but it does happen in those situations.

The thing that bugged me about this movie was how stupid every scientist was. I mean wow they are all stupid

Don't hold your breath on that sequel. Far from definite.

If there is a sequel Damon Lindolf isn't coming back he said so himself.

I want a sequel, but I'm not gonna hold my breath. I do think getting some new writers attached would be a positive.

So, so, SO happy with this news, one of the best movies of the summer for me, couldnt get it out of my head for weeks.

I expected a generic prequel to Alien, I got something totally different, cannot wait for the sequel.

I saw this on Sunday...man what a great movie!! I'm probably gonna see it again before it leaves theaters.

Finally saw it today and it was one of the few remaining theater that still showed it. I know it had mixed reviews but on the side it was a really good movie! One of the best of the year! Some plot holes here and there but nothing that ruined overall experience. Good to see Scott keeping the genre alive and kicking. I do hope for a sequel, dying to know the reason why

Michael Fassbender may go straight from Playing Magneto again to Prometheus sequel.
It won't be coming any earlier than summer 2015.But If Fox hass FF reboot for 2015 a 2016 release for this sequel Is more likely.Plus possabilty Ridley scott may just produce
sequel.

I'm glad to see some others that enjoyed this as much as I did.

It's still a good film, but on my 3rd viewing in theaters the plot holes seems to be more noticeable. How in the **** did Fiefeld get lost if his equipment mapped the entire construct. He knew which way east was, how hard would it be to find the exit?

The results of that mapping showed up back on board the ship, not on any equipment he had with him, as far as I could tell. And the two scientists were cut off from communication with the ship by the incoming storm, as you see/hear the screen go glitchy and then blank from interference.

On top of that, Fifield was crazy and high on cannabis. He had an orange mohawk and a bad attitude that were an audience signpost for 'nutjob' and he was smoking pot in his spacesuit, as the other scientist noticed and stupidly asked 'Is that tobacco'.

Vickers hired these losers because she wanted the mission to fail, so she would finally inherit the company when her father croaked.
