Do you guys have any recommendations for good gangster movies that take place in the same era as this one?

The Untouchables. Sort of the same era, same feeling.

Yes if there's any pic I would compare this to, its The Untouchables. And Bonnie & Clyde.
Or you can check out any movies made during that era. It was a really big thing back then. Sure they are old, but some of them are really good.
