Damn u, i clicked :hehe:

You asked and you shall receive! :hehe:

btw, I cannot wait any longer to see this as well

Hopefully that's not the case. After the Dark Knight I don't know why they'd do that. Then you've got Terminator 4 coming out the same summer, Bale should be a big deal right now.

I would say Bale is even more so of a B.O. draw than Depp.

If there's a Bale poster, there need to be a Marion poster as well

Decent poster; given that the font size is the same for all 3 names I would expect one poster for each of them.

And Bale is on a hotter streak than Depp, but isnt nearly as big of a draw.

Well Depp is the bigger star, plus as stated they don't have many scenes together

This movie is about Dilinger. Purvis was the one who caught him, but how many people know who he is? If Bale was on the poster people would be like, "who is he playing?"

Oh yeah Not debating that. That's a good reason to be first billed. But what makes me go a little tiny bit "huh?" is the credits at the bottom of the poster where it's only Depp's name in front of the title. It should be both their names in front of the title down there cause that's usually always the "official" credit area. I'm think like "Body of Lies", where Dicaprio is the bigger star and had the WAY bigger role, but they still advertised it as DICAPRIO CROWE "BODY OF LIES". Could do that here too. It's the stmaller credit that's making me think like this though, not the big in bold names and titles cause that of course can look different with a Bale poster or something.

Is there any official confirmation for the trailer (i.e. article)?

Wait so Bale and Depp barely have any scenes together? I'm not familiar with the story, but is this going to be a De Niro/Pacino scenario all over again?

looks like it.....

It's hard to say. If they've altered history within the film, then they may have a new confrontation, but I think Purvis and Dillinger only had two eye-to-eye meetings.

Kind of. One of them is a gangster, and the other one is a cop so it makes sense.

^Well that's common sense, I just assumed they'd still have screen time together.

Hmm, well whatever scenes they do have, they're going to be amazing -gasoline filled explosives strapped to spikes- type of amazing.

"The only way that you will leave a jail cell, is when we take you out to execute you."
Fantastic.

Great line.

Bale's got a funky accent going there too. I like it.

Bale & Depp on big screen! Finest actors on the planet!

I can't wait!

That shot of Depp leaping over that barrier is classic Mann.

Melvin Purvis was from Florence, South Carolina. :cwink: I LOVE the accent!

Yeah, it's great. I can't wait to actually see Bale talking with it more, cause it's pretty different from anything we've ever heard him do before.

On a somewhat related note, does anyone ever wish Bale did a scene, or maybe a monologue, where he did sort of a complete meltdown or breakdown and just let all his different voices out? LOL I know it's such an obscure idea, but seeing the footage made me remember how many voices Bale actually does. I'd just love a scene where he goes from that "mocking English accent" in The Prestige, to a gruff John Connor, to a Batman growl, to a Bateman taunt and finishing off with this cool South Carolina accent. Hehe...I feel like I'm alone on this one...:hehe:

Looking forward to that trailer.

I could have mistook the new poster for a new TDK poster.
