Yeah, there is some quality hat action going on in the new footage.

Thanks. :up:

Fedoras and Tommy Guns...*Sigh*..I wish I lived in the 30's. :csad: :woot:

We kind of do *cough*Depression*cough*. We're just kind of experiencing the bad part of the 30s. I wish we could bring the cool stuff back.

Remember back in the 80s when Depp was this heartthrob pretty boy and all the girls swooned over him? Who knew that decades later he'd become an idol of fanboys all over who wouldn't have dreamed of calling him one of their fave actors back then? The difference years make, man.

He's had a pretty decent rep for awhile. At least since Edward Scissorhands.

Same can be said of the 90s and DiCaprio.

I know some mentioned the Joker poster for TDK but this image I found at Empire was the first thing that popped into my mind

i really get it how he thought that it worked in collateral. or even in miami vice.
but this ''documentary'' camera doesnt work in this movie. it just doesnt work.

Wow. Just, wow. Michael Mann sure knows how to make a smooth movie.

works for me :cwink::woot:

The trailer was excellent and now I definitely want to see it. I also like that it's being filmed in a similar style to Collateral.

He's doing the samething that he did with Coliterial and Miami Vice: The interior scenes are filmed in film, while the exterior scenes are filmed with digital.

But yeah, I don't know why he's doing that style with this movie. I don't know the artistic advantage that he trying to achieve here, because he's done it already and it was an okay 'style' I suppose.

I love how Michael Mann films his movies so I'm glad he kept his recent digital rise. And seeing how this is a true story, I'm more than welcome to a documentary style.

Dillinger reppin' the Hoosier State...gangstas 4 lyfe.

I retract what I said earlier: I AM excited about this....:wow:

Anyone know what's up with the CGI Depp-face when he's jumping over the barrier? Looked odd.
