For the final time:
Homecoming
Beacon
Finale
Abandoned
Booster
Icarus
Kent
Masquerade
Ambush
Scion
Luthor
Shield
Dominion
Isis
Lazarus
Harvest
Prophecy
Patriot
Fortune
Collateral
Supergirl
What was good about the Finale:
- Clark and Lois' reconciliation about their relationship
- Of course, the return of Lex
- Lionel proving what a truly Magnificent You-Know-What he is, willing to kill his own daughter to save his son.
- Oliver being cured of the Darkness thanks to Gold K and a physical and mental beating from Clark.
- Clark accepting his destiny and reconciling with both his fathers - realizing it was both sets of parents who shaped him.
- Lois sneaking on board Air Force One and convincing the Sec'y. of Defense that a hero was coming.
- Clark's first true flight - not as Kal-El, not as an avatar, not as Bizarro.
What was not so good:
- Darkseid. Or rather, Lionseid. The season's big baddie, instead of making his imposing presence fully known, uses Lionel as a vessel? Oh boy. Which gets me to...
- What a waste of Clark's first flight. All it took was flying into Lionseid to destroy him?
- The last 10 minutes felt like I was watching a frame-by-frame recreation of the plane sequence in Superman Returns.
- THE SUIT. The freaking SUIT. I've complained about this numerous times, but waiting 10 seasons to see Clark don someone else's suit is not what I had in mind.
- To make it worse, we don't even see a full live shot of Welling in the suit. Any "SuperBlur" action was through questionable CGI at long distance or from the neck up with a CG cape. Inexcuseable.
