so not silver then? didn't you originally call it silver? didn't you also say anyone who didn't realise it was silver was blind?

Go back and read. Whiskey was complaining how silvery Raimi's webs were because they were so reflective of light and way bigger than this costume's webs. Well this suit has reflective webbing as well and it looks silver when it is reflecting light. In other words, I was showing how idiotic his post was. And now I get to do that to you.

Yes I was taken to school by the people who can't see colors.

BLACK

doesn't change the fact that you called it silver then reneged to a different colour. your conversation with whiskey doesn't factor into that at all.

your original post that i replied to was you saying that people are blind and that the webs a few pictures up were silver - the post was self contained and didn't require any additional research. here it is in case you forgot:

"Do the blind post here? The TASM2 suit has silver webbing. It's just the way the light hits the reflective material. There's even a pic like 2 posts up :/ " - was not a reply to whiskey, was a stand alone post, i therefore had no tacit requirement to go read your previous discussion with whiskey... plus it reads as a general statement to all who think it is black.

also you still haven't responded to my post about your faulty logic, i.e. it could just as easily be the case that the webs are black, yet appear more silvery in the light, than the other way around.

"The TASM2 suit has silver webbing. It's just the way the light hits the reflective material" -

this implies to me that you believe that without direct light hitting the costume, the webs are silver.

also another poster says he has seen the costume in person yet you probably think he has problems discerning colour...

But it is silver when it's reflecting light..............which was in response to WT complaining about how Raimi's suit had silver webbing...which is reflecting light.

But lets put that aside, your whole argument is that I called it silver and now call it dark gray, gun metal, charcoal, whatever. That somehow is preposterous when you called it straight up black. So, that's the end of that argument.

oh so there's a difference between straight up black and black? because i think you are using the former to argue against people who said the webs were black in a much more general sense. dare i say these people may, if asked to elaborate which particular shade of black it was to them, would have responded "gun metal grey".

it appears you have jumped from defending it as silver, to defending it as gun metal grey, when the latter is not really in dispute at all.

i never called it straight up black. i said in my first reply to you that it was likely a black webbing that appears silver when the light hits it, not the other way around.

lmao

Still waiting for you to show me the posts where I compared the thickness of the webs between suits.

In the mean time I suggest you keep digging yourself deeper. It's pretty amusing.

Imma hit the sack but you keep plugging away, I'll grade you in the morning. ;)

raimi's webs appeared silver in low light in the same way as the apparently blind posters on here as saying that the new suits webs will appear black under the same conditions.

of course the new suit appears silver with direct sun light hitting it, that can and does happen to black (im using the general definition, lest someone straw mans me) objects.

but yeah, basically we were saying it is not silver in the same way as raimi's was.

Nobody said Raimi's wasn't silver braj.

Black right?

Black right?

yeah, in a relative and general sense of the word.

plus you're the one who called it silver. you didn't say:

"do the blind post here, the new suit is obviously NOT BLACK, it is more a gun metal grey"

nope, you posted

"do the blind post here, the new suit is obviously SILVER"

I called it silver in a "relative and general sense of the word".

And once again...it is silver when the webs are reflecting light...which was designed like that for a reason by people who took Art Theory and do this for a living. Which was used to compare a post about someone *****ing how Raimi's suit was silver.

You really can't see!

same with old greg who has seen the suit in person?

lol we have pointed out the straw man nature of your arguments but you still don't budge.

no one is saying that the suit doesn't appear silvery in direct sunlight / strong light.

pointless disscussion...is ...pointless can´t you agree to disagree?

You really can't see!

sorry. see how i can admit where i make errors, unlike you...

you're picture is very clear, the text is in no way all over the place, with white text crossing onto white background, i must be blind.

Yes lets not trust pictures on your computer screen and trust a second hand account by someone who isn't working on the production.

So you agree with me that Whiskey Tango is wrong to ***** about how the webbing on Raimi's suit in the sun was silver and therefore a crappy looking suit when this suit while not as silvery is pretty much the same thing? Don't you think that was a troll comment to begin with and therefore warranted my pointing out of how stupid that post was which lead to all this stupid ****?

pointless disscussion...is ...pointless can´t you agree to disagree?

was fine to disagree. was fine with people thinking it is silver or not black or whatever. i just don't like how he called other people blind.

when the suit first came out in the pic i thought it was silver until people pointed stuff out to me. i didn't say that either stance meant the person was visually impaired, which itself carries negative connotations of low intelligence (chaseter obviously didnt mean blind in the literal sense)

the fact he then jumps from calling it silver to gun metal grey just shows how there is in face wiggle room when discerning this new suits "true" colour. and i wanted him to admit he was.. i dunno, being elitist?
