I think they really hit the middle ground with the size of the lenses.
Not too big-

and not too small-

I'd have to see some close up footage and just the movie in general, but right now I wouldn't mind them being a TAD bit bigger haha.

I could understand having some minor nitpicks, but hate it???

It's pretty much the perfect suit in my opinion.

I'm really starting to love this suit more than TASM's suit, wich I never thought I would tbh.

This pic has really settled alot of my nerves about the suit. I wish the belt was thinner, the boot length higher and the eyes smaller, but I'm a lot more at ease over the suit now.

I do wish they had kept the TASM suit. But like I said, this pic has actually made me happier with the TASM2 suit

I wish the bottom spider legs went to the edge of the red part. It'd help tie it to the first costume better, because it just looks strange floating there with the legs so long.

The long legs on the first costume didn't look all that great. I think this version pulls off the look much better and it's a happy medium between the ASM look and the classic costume imo.

Definitely the best suit in my opinion. My nit pick is I wished they they had made the black of his eyes bigger (like JRJR, Ramos, or Ditko). Judging by the location of his real eyes, they could have done it, paticularly along the bottom. But, otherwise the shape is much truer to the comics. Also like the shape of the head/face.

Wow, this movie just can't win. Even when it decides to follow the comics people will all of a sudden out of the blue state: "I hate Spider-Man's iconic look, I just have't realized it until this point." Marc Webb's forehead must be so red from the number of times he's slammed it against his keyboard.

Really? In most of, if not all, set photos I saw, never once did I see Garfields eyes. There is only one photo that comes to mind and even then they weren't that apparent.

Cool. Glad to hear it. The ASM suit grew on me over time until I saw the movie and was completely won over.

It's gotta be a tough job taking on a Spider-man movie...it's not just the pressure to do your job well and try to deliver a quality product, you've also got the 50 years worth of die-hard fans pounding their fists into the air demanding certain things.

If it were me, I'd just try to concentrate on doing the best that I could and try to be faithful to the character and know that no matter how well I do, there's no pleasing everyone.

They'll most likely correct that issue. The ASM suit also had see through eyes in the set pics and they fixed those.
