The Dark Knight Rate the NEW & IMPROVED "SuperBadAss" Joker Special Edition Picture from "Wizard"

How would you rate the new "SuperBadAss" Special Edition Joker picture?

  • 8/10 - We wanted a "cold-blooded, mass-murdering clown", and that's exactly what we're getting!

  • 5/7 - He looks mean, but he wouldn't scare me!

  • 3/5 - Bah, Jack Nicholson is the future!

  • 0/3 - Where is the nearest window? Because I'm seriously considering chucking myself out of it!

Yes, it is very obscure. A good majority of the population has no idea that show (or most WB shows) every exisited.

Ontop of that, you're just getting very angry it seems because he did not know who they were. Just take a couple deep breaths before you post.

Nobody got mad...whats your problem.

I went "Jeez "because

a) he confused THE GENTLEMEN with joker being a gentleman...( which how has he been a gentleman..?

b) if he had checked the previous posts with the photo he wouldnt have confused that.

..and that show is no more OBSCURE than anything on today

it went 7 seasons and was the most popular show on wb and upn for years.

Ya, I heard the name can't tell you anything about it. I was reading what they were saying sounded like jargon to me. That would be like me going on a star trek tangent and say
"well if you were reading you would clearly have known we weren't talking about enterprise but voyager"(nerd snort)

in retrospect. That last post i said made no sense...

Just was simply saying that make-up effect on those charcaters , to me, looks far superior to what Ledgers is.

Some one a few pages back put up the photo. Somewhere along the line,..from what I can tell, you thought I meant Joker was a gentleman.....so there was the confusion..it had nothing to do with having to be a buffy fan...it was a simple misunserstanding.

I can appreciate the Dave Mckean /arkham interpretation of the Joker and if Ledger aactually looked close to that , I wouldnt really have a problem.

I'm one of the unlucky few who saw the movie version and it kind of put me off but I heard the TV show was much better, so I might give it a try some day.

Ahh, well the DVD boxsets are pretty cheap now.

I was telling other people on here. My favorite part was the look of surprise of the deep answer that Bale used to describe Bruce Wayne. He looked like he wanted to get out of there... alright back on topic

He always looks puzzled, his defense mechanism is the lost stare. :woot:

I just wanted to emphasize and de-emphasize certain colors

I couldn't do much with Microsoft Picture Editor - damn, I wish I had Photoshop...

i was too, especially after the first picture, but now with the two new pictures we got this week im pretty much over it.

Same here. I didn't like some of the early pics, but now it starting to grow on me.

The bottomline is there's just no need to stray from the character. These are the things that make up the Joker and what he is. Stay true top the source material.

I concur. It not just the look alone, but the personality. If he does many crazy thing & it disturbing like the comic books, I'm fine with his look. Even if it not perma-white.
