I like how the red eye actually has a pupil

Bruh, "Sorry guys, I didn't bring a sword. Jesus, he is tall." are the worst. Not only are the lines and delivery bad, but the cowl looks terrible on him there.
It's how the cowl's mouth hole fits on his face. It's too rounded at the bottom and it's like they didn't give enough room for his epic chin.
It happens a few times and it one of my main criticisms with the new cowl.

The costume that Whedon used for the reshot scenes were completely different. Left is a screenshot from the theatrical cut and the right is from the trailer.

Oh my lord, I knew it was bad, but I didn't know how bad it actually was.:funny:

I do as well, it makes him look more advanced and aides his acting better than a blank red one would.

Also, that is some amazing CG work in that shot.

allegedly Cyborg kills his mother in the Snyder cut. Hence all the bitterness.

I believe it was in the car crash that injured him and not as Cyborg, and although the A.I. doing it against his will is far more interesting and compelling, being reminded of your mistake every time you look at yourself is still pretty good and a close second.

yeah apparently I misinterpreted what that (alledged) WB insider was saying and it was indeed during the car crash pre cyborg body. Would have added a whole new dimension to him if it happened the way I used to think it did though.

I think most stuff from Snyder's cut got removed from his arc. He clearly had more of an origin, and there was some kind of “tempted to the dark side” angle originally planned, which might have been redundant with what was going on with Superman, and what we saw in BVS with Batman, but would have been interesting.

He still has a pretty decent arc and a very important, very central role in the film, and the key themes about isolation crystallize with Cyborg's scenes. I really liked his "coming out of the shadows" arc in general.

People are wondering how a car accident rendered him the way he is. He references an explosion in the film. So either there's no car accident, or there was an explosion as the result of one.

Ray himself is excellent in the role. He’s an excellent ambassador for the character of Cyborg, and seems genuinely excited about sprading the word about him (see his Black Hollywood interview). He can sing, too. Well.

yes to all this. really hope he stays on the role and shows up in more movies.

JL made me not just a cyborg fan - but a ray fisher fan as well.

I hope we get this scene whether that be in the next JL movie, the Cyborg solo or the Titans movie

Cyborg meets a kid in the park and they bond over their prosthetic limbs.

Really wish we could have got his extra scenes that were cut. He was one of the best things about them movie for me, and he had the most effecting arc.

His arc as is was very shallow, and had little to no impact as we didn't see any real emotional struggling, just him saying things were hard, someone saying you can do it, and it turns out it wasn't very hard at all.

we should see some power stunts from Cyborg next time.

Cyborg should have a romance with someone, like Vixen, bring her in.

Cyborg should emerge as a co-leader in the next appearance.

Cyborg's connection to Apokolips should be explored- he could be haunted in his dreams by Darkseid and see visions of the landscape.

JL is such a pile of meh to me, but the Cyborg cuts are one of the few things that truly piss me off about that film. I know it sucks for Supes fans to have the character just on the back burner, but at least he got his own solo. Cyborg got nothing. Such a shame.

Hang on, that shot was different in the actual film. What's going on? Did they change a scene?
Yes, they changed it to Vic wearing the hoodie while looking out the window...and for some reason even the brick wall looks fake in the final product.... *sigh*

I assume he wore a hoodie a lot more than he should have was because the CGI for him was incomplete.

The reshoots were also stupidly expensive as it was, so I'm sure they wanted to cut costs in some fashion.

cyborg deserved better.
i still really dig what we got in the movie -- but all these reshoots and so many of fisher's scenes being cut here n there seems very confounding to me.
