What a shame too. I think the thing had like, 500 dislikes on YouTube, compared to maybe 3 likes. Plus all the negative/laughing comments caused it to be canned pretty fast :funny:

For those of you who missed the Jaguaring video, here is what it looks like.

Claws up. Turn to the right. Knees down. Jaguaring.

I believe I just found my new avvy. Thanks! :pal:

Even other teams will start Jaguaring. That's how awesome it is.

Drew Brees gets his $100 Million Deal, with $60 Million Guaranteed, an NFL record. Man finally got what he deserved from that franchise i.e. $40 Million in just THIS season.

Unlike some, I think the Saints will still do fairly well this year even with the instability within management, at least a Wild Card spot.

I expect this to be a Spygate Deal where it motivates & fuels the entire franchise. Will all the vitriol & lawsuits flying, these guys are anything but apologetic & ashamed.

Well, I've just been handed the fantasy league trophy this year. :woot:

I hear they're already taking bets on who'll take the first guy out of the game. Just a friendly wager, of course.

Eli's stats in the Playoffs is slightly better than Ben's even with the Giant's 3 loses. But when it comes to those 2007 & 2011 season, Eli threw for 2 INTs combined, he's been stellar.

I'm not exactly sure how Jaws ranked them based on 2011 or their whole entire career.
I'd formerly put Eli just behind Ben in a Ranking/Countdown, but I think this past year leading up to the Superbowl gave Eli a pretty solid leap forward...being pretty-much the entire offense with no running game, the 4th qtr comebacks, the playoff road wins....so I think it's fair for him to just edge out Ben coming into this year. But they could switch places at the end of this year, too.

I'm sure someone has come out and said something before. Maybe I'm just used to seeing WWE always talk about it.

He's probably the first NFL player to come on board. It's a sport that has a major appeal to children (especially with Play 60) and they (as well as NBA and MLB) have not come on board with Anti-Bullying.

Maybe I'm bias (biased?), but I have to give the edge to Big Ben.

Eli might have as many rings, and some rather impressive playoff runs, but so does Ben with his first Super Bowl run being all road wins at a #6 seed. And Eli, the years he hasn't won a Super Bowl, hasn't had much success, including multiple seasons missing the playoffs altogether.

I feel that Eli relies on his defense to carry him way more than Ben does. Yea, Eli has rings, that's great, but to me, he doesn't pass the "eye test". I'm just not that impressed by Eli. I can't rate him above Ben, let alone above Tom Brady or Peyton Manning like the media was trying to do after the Super Bowl. And I know we can't really play this game because it effects all teams, but if Dashon Goldson doesn't blow up Tarell Brown going for a pick (or Kyle Williams bounce a punt off his knee, or the ref wasn't whistle happy on ruling Ahmad Bradshaw down waaayyy too soon - but don't mind me, I'm just bitter :p) we're not even having this conversation. We're probably having the just as bad conversation of "Is Alex Smith as good as Eli Manning"...

He's close to Ben, but if I were starting a franchise, and my choice of QB was between Eli or Ben, I'd take Ben, and I wouldn't think twice about it.

Again, in think this past year, with how much of the offense he had to carry, gave him a big boost. In that respect, there's probably a bit of an 'incumbent' edge after winning the SB coming in. But the fact remains that he proved himself to be a top-tier winning QB this year, no running game, more 4 qtr td's than anyone, and playoff wins on the road in which he played outstandingly. Be it him or Ben, they're definitely both in that top 6....there's no way Eli isn't in there anymore.

Nell,

Last year, the Giants defense was horrible for the first 13 games because of injures. They came together at the end of the year.

Also, their run offense was equally terrible. Again towards the end of the year, they improved.

So how with a bad defense and bad running offense, did they keep their heads above water? It was Eli, who broke the season 4th quarter TD record, who threw for almost 5,000 yards, who cut down on the amount of INTs.

Then when the team came together at the end, he broke the record for most yards in a single post season.

I don't think other than Giants fans, did Eli earned respect because of 2007. Now with 2011, it's almost given begrudgingly.

It's funny with Eli, Roethlisberger and Rivers, there doesn't seem to be as much comparison. ESPN, NFL.com tend to compare Eli with Romo instead.

If you ask me, Romo isn't going to sniff a ring in Dallas. If he can go to a team with a competent GM he'd be so much more successful. So much talent on that team, but the pieces don't fit together.

Rivers should be the one being compared to Romo, since they're in the ringless half of the top 12

But... but... I thought THIS WAS GOING TO BE THE YEAR where they get things going in Dallas! They're THE MOST TALENTED TEAM in the NFL, after all! And they have THE GREAT ROB RYAN, the genius defensive coordinator who has been part of THREE horrible teams that haven't made the playoffs once! He'll get them to the Super Bowl for sure!
