Eli should be higher than Ben. He puts up better numbers and BR played badly in all 3 Superbowls he's been in.
I'd trust Ben to win more games than Eli. Eli has played pretty badly in his fair share of playoff games.

Eli's stats in the Playoffs is slightly better than Ben's even with the Giant's 3 loses. But when it comes to those 2007 & 2011 season, Eli threw for 2 INTs combined, he's been stellar.

I'm not exactly sure how Jaws ranked them based on 2011 or their whole entire career.

You're out of your mind. How many big playoff games has Eli won on the road? Dallas.....Green Bay twice.....San Fran where he was knocked down a billion times.

Yeah, Ben was really bad in Super Bowl 43 when he lead the game winning drive in the last 2 minutes of the game. :whatever:

Eli is very good too, but don't forget that he had 25 picks in 2010, and before this season, his team missed the playoffs two years in a row (and just barely made it in in 2011).

Did Eli win that 49ers game or did San Fran lose? The Steelers faced an extremely difficult road to the Super XL. Ben also won a shootout in the Super Bowl against the Cards. I don't trust Eli Manning without an above average defense behind him. Ben could most likely hang with Drew Brees in a shootout, Eli couldn't, at least I don't think so.

Lets take a look at the playoff games Eli has lost:
05 Wild Card Carolina 23-0, at home
06 Wild Card @ Philly 23-20
08 Divisional Philly 23-11, at home (Also were the 1 seed)

While a look at Ben's
04 AFC Champ. New England 41-27 (In his rookie season mind you, what was Eli doing in his? Oh yeah a 0.0 QB Rating)
07 Wild Card Jaguars 31-29
Super Bowl XLV Green Bay 31-25
12 Wild Card Denver 29-23 (Can't hold this against him)

Ben is a better QB based on his versatility. He can sling the ball for 400 yards, or he can be a rough game manager type QB depending on the situation.

2 rings and a super bowl loss > only 2 rings

Also, Eli never raped anyone, allegedly. That stat is very important when comparing Super Bowls.

Never because I still hate Kobe for that. Also, Jason Kidd beat his wife.

That has to be one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.
How? Isn't a loss in the Super Bowl a good bit better than a loss in the wild card round?

Eli has won 8 playoff games, Ben has won 10.

Yeah, well Eli has 2 Super Bowl winning drives so keep trying. :oldrazz:

I wasn't even saying that Ben is necessarily better than Eli. Just pointing out that your comment that "BR played badly in all 3 Superbowls he's been in" was horsesh**.

You didn't say that though. You compared a SB loss to a win straight up. By that dumb logic, does that make Roethlisberger a better QB than John Elway?

He was 9 for 21 against Seattle with 2 picks and threw 2 INT's against Green Bay. Know the facts before you call something horse**t. Let's not forget that he hasn't won a Super Bowl MVP. Manning has....twice.

When do we all stop hating Ben for rape like we did with Kobe?
Well both are pretty unlikable even without the whole "rape" accusations.

Kobe asking to leave LA a few times.

Ben questioning management about his role after his OC was dismissed. There was a whole Sports Illustrated article about his behavior.

After his motorcycle accident, and he said he'd never ride without a helmet again. Multiple sitings of him without a helmet.

And let's not forget how he treats his "fans".

People might have given him more of the benefit of the doubt if he wasn't such an a'hole.

Yes, I know the facts. I'm not disputing he was bad in those games. But you said ALL THREE, and in SB 43 he was 21 of 30 for 256 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT and a passer rating of 93.2. Now, those might not be perfect stats and perhaps the other two games bring his ability into question. But to win a Super Bowl even once as a QB is an accomplishment. Especially when you consider that in SB 43, he had one offensive weapon (Holmes) because Ward was hurt, Miller wasn't his usual self and Washington was... Washington; and the running game was pretty much nonexistent that year.

Anyway, again, I'm not ripping Eli. I think the jury is still out on who the better QB is between him and Ben. Eli is the clear winner in terms of Super Bowl records but regular season and playoff stats and wins should count as well.

Also you have to remember, even though he didnt play well in XL, he played pretty damn good on the playoff games leading up to it. They had a just as equally tough road as the Giants did in 07. Also in XLV, didn't half of his team get hurt in the game? XLV isnt on Ben, but in-game injuries and Mendenhall's fumble that cost them dearly.

Well two of Ben's interceptions in Super Bowl XLV led to 14 points for Green Bay.

Yeah, people like to rip him a new one over XL, but they forget that he played very, very well in the playoffs leading up to it and had it not been for a tackle he made in the Colts game after Bettis fumbled, they wouldn't have made it to the Super Bowl. Considering that it was only his second year in the league, and considering they WON the game (despite what annoying Seahawks fans would have you believe) I think people should lay off him a bit over that.

As for XLV... I can't defend him too much in that game, though I will say that the pick 6 he threw at the start of the game was NOT his fault... his sh**house O-line did what they do best and got knocked out of the way a split second after the snap, and Ben got hit as he was throwing the ball... it was a lose-lose situation because had he taken the sack, it would have been a safety since they were backed up into the end zone. Some of he other mistakes he made were on him but yeah, Mendenhall fumbled at the worst time possible (they probably would have taken the lead during that drive otherwise) and the pass defense in that game was awful. It was pretty much a team failure, just like I'd call SB XL a team win.

While yes, he did give up those points, he made those points up, then Mendenhall fumbled the game out of reach. It was 21-17, and the Steelers had just missed a field goal when Mendenhall fumbled. Had the field goal hit, or had Mendenhall not fumbled, its a very different 4th quarter.

I was actually really disappointed with Super Bowl XLV, really unexciting game that I thought was going to get exciting, only for it to become even more unexciting.

For those of you who missed the Jaguaring video, here is what it looks like.
