I said its coming back as a mid season replacement. Meaning it'll be back in like January.

Thats why i was saying maybe if that one new show fails there bring repar back earlier.

No its coming back. Just Next year.

It is quite shocking that the show even got renewed. I liked the latter episodes when they decided to move more away from the same boring formula week after week of them simply battling demons and not much more. I don't know if being a better show would have increased ratings but it certainly couldn't have hurt.

There was a large fan response. A number of fans sent socks to CW offices to get the show renewed. They started with selling the characters and now they got better stories (like you said). Its not a great gameplan, but the direction the show it taking i can definitely see it become a sleeper hit. Historically, some of the best shows had horrible beginnings but nowadays its harder for tv to get off the ground.

plus also in january is Joss Whedons DOLLHOUSE so added jan bonus.
