agreed they could have dumped the show for some crappy 90210 show, oh wait....

lol lol lol
and yeah 90210 sucked. i saw some last night... frienda' mine REALLY wanted to watch it for the purposes that they watched it every night w/her sisters when she was little...

and i got the point where one of the chicks is in school and says "***** you are so dis-invited to my party" i couldnt handle it anymore and i spaced out the rest of it. lol

let's be honest...Reaper got a second season by the grace of God and having more than 3 new episodes after the strike....

Oh, irony. :)

Anyway, I don't expect Reaper to continue for more than this coming season, myself. Apparently the CW's upper management wants to turn it into Lifetime for 20-somethings, and Reaper definitely doesn't fit that model.

Whats that now?

The CW President in charge wants to make the network more female friendly. Getting rid of anything a guy might watch.

Women are a more reliable viewership....They are hoping to get what happened with Buffy, Angel, and Dawsons Creek...aim for female viewers and hope that some male viewers get dragged along with it

Yeah, abnd i think its gonna bite them in the ass for it.

Oh, yeah, lets cancel our top rated show cause no females watch.

Thats just great business there.

Women, sometimes i tell ya.

well I think the whole SmackDown things was quasi-mutual....the WWE felt, especially in the past couple years that Viacom really didn't want them....it was kind of a "You can't fire me...I quit" sort of deal....its the CW's loss because they are going to lose a chunk of their viewership and a 2 hour gap to fill on Fridays....

I believe Reba ended because Reba herself was done with the show...and it ran for like 4 or 5 season...so it's considered a success

I mean what are they gonna put on friday? repeats of america's next top model and Gossip girl?

Dexter Entourage and Californication are on sundays

Dexter's good, the other two can get cancelled for all i care.

Also, I dont have HBO or Showtime, so I can care less.

Is that why they show wrestling on the f***ing Sci Fi Channel now? :o

No...that's because WWE signed a TV deal with NBC/Universal, the owners of Sci-Fi...to be fair, it's one hour late on a Tuesday night....it's not like it's taking a lot of time away from Stargate and Ghost Hunter reruns...

it's a demographic thing....that 18-30 demographic that the WWE courts also watch sci-fi

Eh, whatever. I'm probably done with Sci Fi after Atlantis gets the boot anyway. It's a god-awful channel at this point.

Yeah. Their C to Z movies (you insult proper B movies by calling them one) just aren't cutting it.
