Superman Returns Reeve wants to be in Superman

Sorry ,but you are all wrong on this one...
my knowledge is that Mr. Keaton left because he simply hated playing a superhero where the enemies are being played by actors that are more popular than the hero
therefore they're stealing the show and are getting paid more cash as well.
Marlon Brando in the first superman movie got paid more money than Christopher reeve and I read somewhere that Christ protested for that ,saying that he was the main actor and therefore he was supposed to received more money

can you believed that a lot of people had to go to court because they didn't get paid for their work on the first batman movie , and Mr. great "JACK NICHOLSON" not only got paid but he was to received a great %profit of the movie as well
not that I blame him ,(the man know how to do business and I applaud him for that)

that stinking batman movie in the end had so much problem that one of the producer (I think) committed suicide.
and for WHAT.. for a crap like that

No, thanks...guest-starring on Smallville was enough. We can't have him showing up in every incarnation. At most, maybe, screentime similar to the amount Stan Lee has in X-Men.
WHAT ???
Stan lee was in the X men ???
you mean the hulk , "cause I sure didn't see him in any of x men movie

in the first xmen movie he is on the beach when the Sen. Kelly washes up on shore.

Oh yeah .. guess I'll have to watch that X Men movie one more time.

I've got no problem with him in a Stan Lee style cameo!

depends on what you mean by that.a hulk cameo where hwe has lines.Or an x-men cameo where you just get a quick glimpse?

Why would some obscure Aussie paper report this and no one else? Some of you are too quick to accept information at face value.

How about professor X ?
after all , Charlton Easton was in the last Planet of the apes
my point is... , it doesn't matter because it's "like"20 years later .who really cares anyways , everybody nowadays knows its all make belief
it' not like in the 60's or 70's when most stars was caught up in their role like Bruce lee who had to lived up to the expectation because everybody really thought that he was that absolutely invincible superman of the martial art
even some American actors was pretending to be as tough as they were in those old Cowboy movies walking around with big guns hanging each side of their belt.

there are so many way he could get a cameo

in the script i'm working in Chris Reeve is a former reporter now turned jornalism teacher in SMALLVILLE after a tragic accident (of course we dont concentrate abt what happed in the accident except that he was a daredevil reporter) He sort of inspires Clark Kent as a teen to push the limits for truth justice and hope.

Later in the future CK and Lois come across him when their covering a protest against LEX CORP ( I know I know i kinda was inspired by that Tom Cruise movie )

Any way thats my room for the cameo in my script basically short and sweet .

Well hey guys this is my first post :D and to tell u the truth i like the forum here alot. Well lets get the issue at hand ;) If Reeve want to be a part of the Superman movie it would only work if he plays Dr. Swann (From Smallville) as he will be like Professor Emil Hamilton to the film :) i think that will work perfect for the movie and introduce some grate mythology into the Superman World

Welcome to the Hype. :)

Word of warning: don't mention Smallville.

I thought he left cause they booted Burton

Michael Keaton supposedly left because when he met up with Joel Shumacher and he didn't like the direction he was pushing it. Tim Burton also stayed as a producer for Forever, but left for B&R.

Or Reeve could do a cameo as Professor Hamilton.

No connections to Smallville, or carryovers. Except for the red pickup truck...:o

"JUST SAY NO"

Thanx for the warning :) but my point is that he can play role as Professor Emil Hamilton and make it look good

If there are any kansas scenes, i really hope they film them in Kansas. Ya, that's random, but Kansas is such a vivid place to me, it gives me shivers when I think about driving through it again.

I drive through it everyday and its not all that.

But if they did film it there I would want to be there.

speaking of reeve as a producer...any word on the donners lately?

That is a HUGE lie ! They were gonna pay him 35 million dollars. He left because he didn't like the direction Schumacker was taking Batman. He wanted to the third one badly but only if it followed the lines of the original. He loves the character and says it's the coolest thing and he digs it alot. I actually have an interview he gave regarding Multiplicity where he talks about why he left. He almost returned to the role in 99/2000 but the scripts/directors they offered him were crap so he refused again.
It was NEVER a question of money but quality. Also it didn't go well with him that they axed his friend Tim Burton's Batman 3 plans.
