Honestly i'm excited about this film. Even though they have made HUGE changes. they seem to have created a powerful story that really resonates. they have created a powerful sci-fi action fantasy movie with a message.

changes like.

Magneto as a sympathetic good guy who becomes a bad guy .
As opposed to being just evil.

Sebastian Shaw and Magneto being lifelong arch enemies.

reinventing the look of the hell fire club

Magneto as on of the original 5 and Charles actually wearing one of the costumes.

Mystique as a good girl turned bad and a friend to xavier.

Making Azazel a primary character in the scheme of things.

and changing around the ages of characters and putting in Banshee.

also it clearly retcons x-men 3 and orgins.

But despite the changes i think that bryan singer has found a way to tell a great story even though changes are being made.

I think it's good too, because it puts a new creative spin to the franchise and daring to be different on a VERY popular franchise. It's like if you made Batman Beyond or something.

good for us fans that finally we see a movie closer to comics. singer's version was too toned down.
bad because with the success, marvel will not be able to get the rights back.
