Last night I noticed that every other house in my neighborhood has Christmas lights on. I've never seen so many before.

I love Christmas Lights when they are done well....some are just thrown up and it shows. But I love going out looking at the lights with family.

I feel like locking a child in a cage when they're being bad should be an acceptable form of negative reinforcement. And I don't even mean that in an angry, spiteful way. Adults do something wrong, they go to jail. Children do something wrong, they go to the cage. It makes sense.

Had one of my wisdom teeth pulled Monday. Anyone had theirs taken out?

Had all four of my wisdom teeth taken out at once. It was not a pleasant experience. My face was swollen like this:

Damn. I have to go and get my other bottom one out in a few weeks. I'm surprised how much this one didn't hurt. What sucked about it is how much it was bleeding. I hate the taste of blood.

i had all 4 taken out at once and i didn't have any problems. i never needed any of the pain meds and i went out that night

fwiw, my pain tolerance is very high

They gave me some meds but I feel like I didn't need them. I haven't been in pain at all. Everyone I talked to that had their out said it was very painful and had to go on Vicodin. They gave me Tylenol/with Codeine.

they gave me 800mg ibuprofen or 1600mg i can't remember. but i never needed them

They gave me some meds but I feel like I didn't need them. I haven't been in pain at all. Everyone I talked to that had their out said it was very painful and had to go on Vicodin. They gave me Tylenol/with Codeine.

I had an impacted wisdom tooth cut out last year and had no pain. Lots of blood, but no pain. No swelling either. I ate a bunch of pineapple the day before because I read it would help for that, so I guess it did the trick.

I hate going to the dentist period!! Thankfully never had the need to have any teeth yanked, but did need a filling. I didn't like any of it.
