New forms of anti-Semitism are reflected in rhetoric that compares Israel to the Nazis and attributes "Israel's perceived faults to its Jewish character."
It also lists manifestations such as conspiracy theories concerning Jews, Holocaust denial, anti-Zionism and the demonization of Israel.
Why is it just anti-semitism? Those Nazi *******s, hate just about everyone who doesn't think, look and act like they do.
I never understood the basis for antisemitism. Do people hate the Jews for the countless contributions they make to the world? 23% of Nobel Prize winners are Jews. Countless advancements and discoveries have been made by Jews. I really just don't get why there's so much hate. Or maybe that's the answer. Maybe it's more of an envy thing, where instead of aspiring for great things, all the energy of the antisemitic mind is focused on ways of brining down the Jewish people. But who knows?
I think this news is very discouraging, but the report kinda contradicts itself and undermines honest debate critical of Israel.
CNN states the report says:
They're basically saying that Israel's perceived policy, justified or not, should not be intertwined with the Jewish faith, character and people, which I WHOLE-HEARTEDLY agree.
Yet...
...considers anti-Zionism as anti-semitic. That's unfair.

Keep in mind that a lot of (ignorant) people don't think there is a difference between being Jewish and being a Zionist. Many people who hate one hate both.
