If Marvel had aired Daredevil on NBC, it would have been in line for cancellation. They made the wise decision to use NetFlix.
It takes a while for exec's to understand the changing technologies and attitudes, unless it makes them a lot of money.
What Netflix did with Daredevil was awesome and it was something that they couldn't do on regular broadcasting.
In the Pre-Marvel Studios era, yes. Spike too comes to mind (i.e. Blade: The Series)
Probably better that way. It was a forgettable and terrible series.
It's not been canceled though.
The Producers are pitching their ideas to NBC for season 2 and then they'll decide. The OP just got ahead of himself because of a lousy source.
I was referring to that Blade series. Constantine wasn't bad. It's not been canceled though.

A good sign but if the ratings for season 2 don't go up enough (if it does indeed get a second season) then that'll be the end of it.
I just watched the series over the past few days and I was surprised how good it was.
If they ditch this then Hannibal is the only show I'd watch from them. The rest of their shows are either uninteresting or boring.
I'd watch it on the website but all it tells me is the content is unavailable. Yeesh.
NBC a "no" for Season 2. Warner Bros working hard to find #Constantine new home. Stay active. Stream. Tweet. #SaveConstantine #Hellblazers
Officially cancelled.
