No, it was a licker, and then mutated into a hunter after it had eaten flesh. At least that's what the Red Queen tells them.

No the red queen said that because it was unstable, if it ingested fresh DNA, it would mutate into a "stronger, faster hunter". She used the word "hunter" as an expression to say the licker would evolve into a more dangerous killer/predator/monster/beast etc etc.

Also, the Fassbender/Wesker picture is from my cast list. You can see all the pictures on **************.com but it think it buts little ads onto the pictures so these two things work better.

The costumes are so bad. That they look like costumes is just the beginning. They look like cheap knock offs that the local Halloween shop would sell.

A lot of costumes look **** when in pic form. They'll most likely look better lit and on film in action.

Apparently, snowcats are involved - so it looks like the film is moving into an colder setting.

There's also a bit of a set reveal with Alice coming out of a closet in what Mila states is in Raccoon City.

For the most part, I've enjoyed the films, right now though...how long can they keep up the characters surviving in a post-apocalyptic world scenario...

I ended up watching the most recent one of these with a friend (their choice, not mine). I haven't seen any aside from the first. Lord, it was terrible. And then out of curiosity I started Googling the next one. Michelle Rodriguez is coming back? She died in the first one. How is that working? I also noticed that none of the other major characters from the fourth film aside from Jovovich are returning. There in lies the problem with these movies. It is not that they don't follow the game's continuity. It is that they don't follow their own continuity. Rather than proceed with the story line that they've set up in the last film and continuing to develop (I use that word very loosely) the characters, they just write them off in favor of resurrecting dead characters and shoehorning in new ones from the game who make no sense in the context of the movie. Lord, these movies are just so bad.

This was the perspective of the UK's sfx magazine, when these movies decided to leave their organisation in a papertrail of bad reviews.
I guess it depends on your perspective.
Also, I think it is very easy to label movies 'bad' in comparison to others, but if you had actual insight into the details of the behind the scenes production, and how difficult they can be in exceptional circumstances, it is not really a reflection on the artist themselves.

The movie is picking after the last one. Umbrella is attacking the Arcadia ship, they are killing some of the test subject on deck and capturing others which include Claire, Chris and K-Mart. Alice is reconnecting with Luther and the two of them join with Leon Kennedy and Barry Burton who are the leaders of an anti-Umbrella resistance group and Alice gets them to help her rescue Claire/Chris/K-Mart.

Milla posted two really long videos last week on twitter. 12 minutes of her just walking around the set and talking to various crew members and just being an over all cool and adorable person.

Oh and during the second video Milla "accidentally" gets in a shot of the monitors and teases us with a very small glimpse of what they filmed that day.

Milla posted some new BTS footage today while they film on a closed off street in Toronto to stand in for NYC. Milla also talks to Li Bingbing in the videos and we can now confirm that she speaks english very well (if anyone was worried). Oh and they show a little part of her RE4 dress when they put her heels on for the filming.

The movie is picking after the last one. Umbrella is attacking the Arcadia ship, they are killing some of the test subject on deck and capturing others which include Claire, Chris and K-Mart. Alice is reconnecting with Luther and the two of them join with Leon Kennedy and Barry Burton who are the leaders of an anti-Umbrella resistance group and Alice gets them to help her rescue Claire/Chris/K-Mart.

Plus, Milla has stated that they are going into Alice's backstory to fill in some of the gaps. The fact that some of these dead characters are coming back leads me to believe they could be flashbacks to fill in the gaps between the films.

It seems to me like, if anything, the fifth film is trying to fix some of the continuity.

Are you from sideshow freaks ? Some guy named Dirtydale post stuff like this too. Just asking ? There are some weird defensive people on that site that love those movie and think there flawless becuase milla's shaking her ass in them. Its rather sad but I still stand by and say that the first movie was the closet thing to resident evil ever. Loved that one alot.

I agree. Of all the RE movies I liked the first one the most. Even though it didn't have any game characters in it, the atmosphere was spot on as well as the zombies, undead dogs, and the licker.

It wouldnt actually be bad if they didnt rip off the matrix every ten seconds and didn't stray away from the series by giving phychis powers. It really doesnt need a reboot it just needs to end and have a prequal within a reboot like xmen. But I guess Milla can't find any other roles so this is her only movie she has. I don't get why she hasnt moved on. They must be fun.

Never saw RE as goofy fun. And I havent see her in any current things outside RE. I think the last movie she was in was utraviolet movie
