I've enjoyed the series for what it is. I think it's gone on for a film or two too long.

If RE is ever rebooted, either do a series focused on the Mansion/Raccoon City, or go the RE 4-6 route with the Plaga and Uroboros related stuff.

No more video game characters shoehorned and not properly used please, keep the focus on Alice, and give more light to already introduced characters in what needs to be the final movie.

The bolded is My current #1 hope for the film...even though I want to see character's like Steve.

I think for the most part, Apocalypse was the only one to handle game characters (well, mainly Jill) well---or okay-ish...

Quick side-note: How was the Dead Rising film from a few months back? Don't recall which streaming service it was provided through.

IMO, do a single movie based on Re1, 2, 3, Code Veronica, 0, 4, 5 and 6 and maybe Revelations and Revelations 2 too? I know its a lot but that would be awesome if that happened.

For the love of.... LOL, Can't this franchise die already. Its horrible. Okay the first one and maybe the second one was "OK" but nothing more. If there was ever a franchise that I was ready for a full on reboot it is this one. I'm ready for a closer to source version of these films with proper characters and proper character treatment.

One can only hope so right. It needs to be pushed and make sure no one from this series (actors, directors, producers, writers) returns. Start fresh and please do it right. As someone else said, a movie based on the Mansion and underground would be amazing and thrilling and the sequel based in Racoon city just........ WOW. I honesty don't mind some variation and changes from the source material, but this series has just turned into a joke. Its almost parody of itself.

Meh, while i remember not finding much bad in the first when i watched it, looking back, i'm not sure it was a good film, though it looks like a masterpiece when compared to the later ones, 4 and 5 in particular, those two were in an Asylum studio level of bad.

I have liked most of these movies for what they are, which is something more inspired by the games than based on them although the last one or two movies, especially the last one, felt like a let down even with a much lower standard of watchability.

This is the last movie though. Milla seems adamant about that and I doubt she'll change her mind and go for another movie afterwards. The physical activity required to do these movies must be exhausting.
