Resident Evil: The Final Chapter

Neato. Last I remember seeing of Jorah was in the third movie. I also read the guy in the Nemesis costume walked off a ramp and got banged up pretty bad.

These films were never great but always fun so itll be great to finally come to the end of the journey before the big R rears its head.

Yes it is! :ilv:

Visually, it looks great especially these films cost less than $100 million dollars. Like I've seen so many films with bigger budget that looked cheaper than these Resident Evil movies. I just wish they didn't have this dark filter, which makes the shots/scenery look darker. I hope thats just for the trailer.

Story-wise, we know what we are gonna get. This is gonna be a popcorn mindless movie, filled with action and cheesey lines and I hope to enjoy it! It amazes how the series got this far! Like the first movie came out in 2002! The same year as the first Spider-Man movie!

Though I hope Sony is already planning on a reboot that is actually faithful to the videogames. I would love to get a movie based from the first Resident Evil videogame!

This is still a thing?
My favorite scene in the whole series is Alice fist fighting Nemesis.
That is so awkward and silly, I can't hate it, even with the awkward apology and crying at the end of it.

Well someone had to say it...

Those post-baby boobs though :hmr:

crazy how long this franchise has been going on tobey was still spiderman when this franchise started lol

Both series had the same release years as well.

How old is Milla now?

****, only two years older than me.

I'm really disappointed Alice isn't fighting Martians infected with the T-Virus. It was the next logical step in how over the top this franchise has gotten.

Upon watching the teaser and the trailer, it's obvious they won't try to make this resemble a good movie.
The villain died twice before this movie, and now he's talking to Alice. Too good looking for a zombie.
Even Albert Wesker died once before, twice in the 4th movie, then we saw him give Alice her powers back in the end of the 5th to join the resistance, and now the trailer made it look like he's against her again.

Why am I thinking hard like I expected an attempt at making a movie look kinda good?

I haven't seen any of these films (actually, I'm pretty sure I saw the first one a long time ago, but barely remember anything significant from it) so i'm actually looking forward to watching all 5 films and catching up. I hear these movies are just mindless fun and the films acknowledge what they are and own it. I'm totally fine with that. There's a time and a place for corny action films, as long as the action is done well and is entertaining.

Good thinking.
Some of the action scenes have unnecessary slow motion.

I still laugh at Mike Epps character in like the third one when they run into Nemesis and he's griping about their attack plan. "That mother****er got a rocket launcher!"

I ran into him at an airport in Baton Rouge. Got a pic with him; cool guy. They should've kept him alive until the end of the series imo. Say what you will, his AJ character was loads of fun.

^ That is very true. His characters' death is one of the things that made me roll my eyes and lose interest.

But yeah, nobody asked for this movie and it's going to bomb. Majorly.

Has anyone seen this great motorcycle commercial?

Its not really a motorcycle ad, but I can see why, some people would think that at first, especially if they don't know Raccoon City.

I liked that the motorcycle has a touchscreen.

I doubt it, maybe becuase its in January and because its been 5 years since the last movie but all the others did pretty well considering their budget.

They don't bomb. They are done on the cheap and make big money. I like them but I know what they are and I don't think this is going to be the end of the series.

With Milla as Alice? Probably. But they will either reboot or spin off sequels at some point.

yeah they dont bomb the largest budget a resident evil has gotten was 65 million
