Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D

Remember the time you gunned down all of those terrifying, pasty monks? Or when that unhinged fella with the chainsaw chased you down the alleyway? Man, that was really fun.

This trailer for Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D for the 3DS put me in mind of a late night spent marathoning Resident Evil 4, or some of the terrific co-op times I had with RE5. This newest trailer introduces us to the eight franchise favorites who are due to kick some zombie ass late next month. We've got chesty Chris Redfield and sister Claire. Jill Valentine can be spotted breaking necks with her hips. There's Barry Burton and masked HUNK, demure Rebecca and the opposite-of-demure Krauser. And last but not least, "I wear sunglasses at night" Albert Wesker.

The title, which is contains remastered stages from installments 4 and 5 of the series, is due to hit shelves on June 28, exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS.

They had me at Barry Burton. The epitome of manliness in the Resident Evil universe. Definitely picking this up later this month.

Why is there like no all star Resident Evil game ? I want to see Leon, Claire, Chris, Rebecca, Billy, Jill all in one game or even a CGI movie & since Leon answers directly to the President he would be in charge of course. Resident Evil 4 showed Leon's bad asssery

It seems Capcom has pretty much confirmed Leon will not be in Mercs 3D.

So long as Chris, Jill, and Wesker are in, I'm happy. But a ton of RE (Leon) fans are pISSeD! I mean, violently ******** pisssssssed. Like, when Mega Man was confirmed NOT to be in MvC3 for the 'dumbest' reasons? Take that fury over to GameFAQS and Capcom Unity, apply it to the RE series, and here you go.

Why would Leon fans support Operation Raccoon City since that re writes the second & third one & Leon dies if you let him ? I guess Leon fans will be avoiding two games now

Personally, I don't care for Leon at all. There is seriously something wrong with a male hero when he looks prettier than Jill Valentine.

Jill was hot in Resident Evil 5 & does she keep those powers even without Wesker controlling her anymore ?

I'd really like for there to be a Mercenaries game for PS3, which combines the stages, music, and characters of RE4 and RE5 too..

I guess I'll have to settle with RE4 HD
