Buying any system at launch is not the best way to go. They all have bugs and such, so it is a crap shoot no matter what. Saying someone is dumb for buying a PS3 at launch then I hope that the same was said of those who bought a 360 at launch.

I for one will try to snag a couple PS3's top make some extra mney but if I am to get one to keep for myself I will wait for the second or third wave of them before buying.

Anyways whatever, dude Resistance is going to be sweet, I can't wait until TGS to see the updated product, so far everything given is like a build two weeks ago and things like that. I really want to know how the game looks right now.

I can't wait, really Resistance is the only reason why i'm getting a PS3 at launch, I don't know I just have a Fox Mulder gut feeling that Resistance will be really really good.

Oh and Thwip, just to let you know, the PS3 is getting more hype than the 360 did at launch. I just went to Gamestop today to see if I can preorder my PS3 and they said that there is so much hype for the PS3, people are actually saying they will turn in their 360's for a PS3.

Hahahahah I laughed at this statement, who cares if its true, look at PC gamers they pay like thousand's of dollars to soup up their computers, why can't it be the same for game consoles? I mean look at Crysis, I read in a magaizne today that the direct 9X card or whatever costs more than 400 bucks, thats enough to buy a 360! Why don't you say they are stupid? But when it comes to Sony people are stupid for looking forward to buying their console.

I mean dude look at the facts, I think Sony is right with the whole you're paying for potential thing. Look at the 360, they start out with meh graphics like Call of Duty 2 and Perfect Dark Zero and then launch into amazing graphics like Gears of War and things like that.

Why can't that be the same for Sony, like starting out with sweet graphics like Resistance's and Assassin's Creed as first gen games that can easily compare with the 360's right now. Then venture into more amazing graphics like Killzone's CGI trailer?

They'll disagree with anything Sony. There's no rational reason for it other than anti-Sony sentiment strung from their X-Box loyalty, so don't even bother arguing with them. It doesn't matter what it is, they'll find the downside.

Sorry to break it to you morons, but if Resistance were a 360 game, hell, if it were a 360 game starring the Master Chief, codeveloped by Bungie and Rare, with Deus Ex all over the place, and a sprinkling of Thief for good measure, and it still looked like this, I'd still hate it. It has nothing to do with Sony, or PS3, for the ****ing one hundredth time. It has to do with this game being a pile of **** and being shoved down everyone's throats. Grow the **** up and stop writing everything off as "oh, they're fanboys". Do you not even realize the irony in hyping an obviously ****ty game just because it's a big PS3 launch title, while at the same time calling someone else a fanboy? If that pic looks great, then good for you, I guess I just have better visual standards, because it looks a lot like a Dark engine (thats doom III) mod, which isn't exactly "next gen", especially after all the *****ing people did (people that are supporting this game specifically) about how Xbox360 was "Xbox1.5" and all kinds of other ridiculous bull****. Aside from the visuals, the story sounds generic and cookie cutter, at best, the developer isn't exactly known for quality, the genre is mostly tired and overdone by now, the online experience will likely suck if for nothing else than for the network that it's on, the AI will probably be no better than the Ravenholm zombies, that is to say, nonexistant, and the developers will use the excuse "oh well they're not fully human so they won't behave like humans", ignoring how boring and terrible it makes their game, among other things. There's a whole lot of stuff that makes this game look like dog **** to a whole lot of people.

There is nothing special looking about it, especially with all the "Blu-Ray/Cell" garbage spewing out of reps asses. Plus the whole whole and design seems unoriginal, done so many times before, and already has holes in some of the "plot"

Insomniac wants to keep the graphics top secret until TGS where they really want to blow us away by the power of the PS3, man I can't wait until TGS.
