I guess you're not good at following along. Here, let me help you out. Lizard said that in Gears, there was a video of a guy jumping back and forth over a wall 3-4 times, not able to choose a side. Both Fenrir and myself questioned this. When I questioned this, you quoted me, saying that I was wrong, indicating that it did indeed happen. And yet, in the video you have quoted as your "source" (ie, the link thwip posted), does not show the event Lizard described, though you clearly indicated that it did, twice now. That makes you wrong, and me right. I'm sorry, but you can't change the direction of an argument when asked to provide proof, and then say "ha, I was right all along!" That's called "******ed".

But he's right about one thing - he called both your and Lizard's bluff about that whole Locust guy jumping back and forth over the wall 3-4 times.

^Dude he did do it though and I'm going to watch it again to see if its because his friend is in the line of fire. But what you guys can't escape is the fact that the guy is a dumb ass and walks across the whole level almost not even trying to get to cover.

Walking back and getting shot at and whats he doing keeps walking and doesn't dive for cover. He passess cover to and he doesn't take it. Thats just a dumb move, who advances like that, no one does if you have any intelligence. I mean you make little advancements not take the leap of faith and then get owned.

Flawed A.I. right there no countering that one so deal with it.

Exactly, Resistance has a lot of these that Insomniac has been fixing, like one where in a hero moment the soldier started break dancing because it was a glitch, and a leaper was crawling down a wall and moving his legs however he was not advancing.

So you can't say "Sorry, I was wrong", can you? Can't just admit that I was right? Can't refute anything I said? Please, show where I misquoted you, please, I'm begging you. You can't. You've got nothing. You and Lizard were lying to make one game look better than it really was and another look worse than it really was. Period. Watch the bloody video, he ducks from incoming fire fairly often and continues to do so for at least 30 seconds more before he comes out of cover and Cliffy bags him.

I have never seen you say that, however I do not read everything on here. I challenge anyone to prove that you said that though. I honestly doubt anyone would be dumb enough to make such a comment as to a game having perfect AI.

So, let's review. Lizard said, with poorer grammar and writing "there are locust guys hopping around". I said "no, there are not", indicating that I disagreed with Lizard. You said in response to me, "you're wrong", indicating that you disagreed with what I said. What did I say? "What Lizard said happened, did not happen". And you disagreed with that. What does that mean? It means that you expressed the idea that you DID think what Lizard described happened. That means, yes, you did say that there were locust guys hoping around, and when you got shut down, you tried to slip and slide away from the issue, and forced me to write this post, leaving absolutely no doubt about what you did and did not do. Stop the lies. Just embrace the truth. You said what you said. It was wrong. I was right. Own up to it.

Well, since you're not sure, let me make sure that it's crystal clear for you. Here's a timeline, see if you can follow along. Don't worry though, I won't be terribly surprised and disappointed if you can't.

Event #1 - Lizard says something false.
Event #2 - I say, "wait a second, that is false!"
Event #3 - You say, "no, you're wrong, it's true!"
Event #4 - You cite a video as your source for this statement, a video that does not show what you say it shows, just as no video of Gears of War shows what you say it shows, because the statement in question was false. Ergo, as the person claiming this to be false, I was the "right" person, and you, as the person who stupidly disagreed with me without knowing a single thing about what he was talking about, would be the "wrong" person.

Do you see how this works?


As for me insulting anyone who disagrees me, with wrong. There are several times that I disagree with someone without calling them names or making fun of them. The difference is, on those occasions, the people in question actually knew what they were talking about, had some sort of facts backing them up, the had SOME business debating in the first place, and when proven wrong, they didn't pretend the whole thing never happened, like an 8 year old basket case.

Oh and to DRT dude you guys are wrong, I did what you told me to and I reviewed the video. It clearly shows at the spot I paused it after jumping over the wall he pushed off so hard he was a good 6 feet to the right of his partner being able to align perfectly for a killing shot on Cliffy. However it decided to jump back over and then jump over to the other side before being a dumb ass and running out into the battle field.

I don't know why he didn't stop and picked up some blood so he could paint a bulls eye on his forehead. HERE I AM, SHOOT ME SHOOT ME!

do you just put arrows at random or something. for daytime that's good lighting. more subtle and realistic than previous gen. i saw texture pop in on the one up vids tho. i think some shot are from the current build they are optimising and some from the previous stable build. so the game gets better and better all the time. stuff they show is a month or two old. one build they can test gameplay on while another is being prepared to run at full speed.

just wait for all the pieces of the puzzle to come together. they are saving the best for last.

i want next gen lighting not previous gen. if you want previous gen lighting you've set the bar too low.
