^I'm pissed they said they would have given it a 10! But the reasons why they couldn't was because...

1. There isn't music.
2. The ending is open for a sequel and doesn't sum up your experience.
3. The vechicles in the game are to powerful and you'll pwn everything with nothing challanging you.
4. There are a couple of levels that you just walk to take a breath and you really want to get back into the action and it makes the game longer than it needs to be.

That's not true.

IGN criticised a few other things throughout the review too. They thought while on the whole the graphics were good, the textures were a bit bland. Again, whilst they liked the AI, it could have been a bit better.

No doubt, with slightly better graphics and AI, the mark would have been bumped a little.

9.1 is still a great score.

Yeah but they said thats not what really hurt the game, at the end they said they would have given it a perfect score based if thoughs things were done properly. Also watch the video review and he'll say that as well.

Although he said that the graphics weren't as amazing as Gears of War or it didn't sound as amazing as Gears of War if those two things were bumped up like you said it would have affected the other scores as well and bumped them up.

But whatever i'm not complaing about a 9.1 Thanks Mr. Credible.

i always agreed on the textures tho. they were too blurry. oh well, 9.1 ain't bad.

Wow Resistance: Fall of Man sold out on day 1 in Japan! thats an accomplishment IMO.

Apparently it's the second faster seling game behind Ridge Racer 7.

The poor Japanese only have four games to begin with.

But still, I'd expect a first person shooter to come last in Japan, so it's nice to see it selling well.

Time magazine did an article on Resistance: Fall of Man they think it might get GOTY. I sure hope so; they said easily the best PS3 game as of right now and possibly for years to come will be in the top five.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. I'm happy to see all of you like Gears of War as well. I just can't wait to play Resistance. Only 5 more days, I wish it would just come fast.

I'm really want to know though, all those people that made fun of me what their opinion is on this now that its getting review and getting a ton of publicity now?

Gears is more than likely the game that's going to get GOTY. Time doesn't know what the hell they are talking about. Resistance is good but has pretty huge flaws in AI and level design if the preview was correct.

Dude 1.up are complete dumb asses! They gave Resistance: Fall of Man an 8.5 OUTSTANDING when they haven't even played the entire game! What the hell they only reviewed a demo and they think of well this is what we're giving it. F that.

Anyways they said Insomniacs game went over kill with the amount of variety and said that the 40 player online was just rediculous amount of people and marked them down for it. What the hell is that, I don't see any other game doing 40 players and that is just freaking amazing in my opinion.

With the visuals Resistance has and then keeping a solid frame rate with 40 players is just amazing. They said it falls a little bit short of being the Halo killer everyone wants but whatever. I think they are dumbassess and shouldn't get to review games. But hey thats just me.

Also why are you guys counting Resistance: Fall of Man out on being GOTY? I think it has one hell of a shot with everything it has going for it. But then again thats just me.
