I do not think he is to into FPSs that much in general & remeber he is completely biased towards Resistance. I find it very hard to take this kid seriously on this game

Oblivion is an RPG.. Resistance is an FPS.

Either way I wouldnt take this kid seriously on this game

Dude what the hell did I do to you? :(

Anyways who cares if I have a biased opinion about this game, I have it and you don't so my word is pretty decent I mean I don't think you should agree with it 100% but at least give it some credibility.

So many people have been giving this game 9/10 and 9.5 5/5 4.5/5 things like that so it’s not just my word. :D

Yeah honestly I've only played a little bit of Oblivion, I liked what I saw but i'm not a be magic kid i'm more sci-fi. I don't really like witches, war locks things like that. From what I saw that looks like what Oblivion is offering.

I think it looks like a cool game though, its a breath of fresh air into the genre and I think thats good. But honestly if I had to live with one game for the rest of my life its definatly Resistance: Fall of Man.

I'm playing it on Super Human now and dude oh my god this is going to take me forever. No wonder they said the harder the level difficulty the longer the game, you die like ever two seconds. The Chimera are smart and they really do some awesome things.

That running into the player really fast and charging you is actually an awesome tactic, everyone thinks you'll kill them really quickly but they own you!

I'm glad you like the game, Liz. But you can't really get upset by people saying you have a biased opinion, lol.

No, it's not. It doesn't do anything original, it just improves upon what's already been done.

just from the names it sounds like they've taken the idea of the battle between heaven an hell and put man in the middle as the resistance. but they might not be choosing sides. so that's why it doesn't matter if they are diseased, devils or aliens. it's all the same story conseptually anyway.

Whoa, that makes everything alot cooler. :word:

Hahahah I know. :D

And Assman it was just a joke sorry if you took it seriously. But dude this game does do a lot of cool things IMO. But then again like I keep telling all of you I haven't played many FPS games like Half Life 2 or any of those so to me it feels like a freshly crafted game experience. :(

I'm sorry Resistance is amazing and doesn't suck nuts like you thought it was going to.

I'm sorry Resistance isn't a "Halo-killer" or "better than Gears of War" or even actually as good as you're touting it to be.

Don't be upset over Insomniac's failure to dethrone a half-a-decade old shooter, dear. They're free to try (and fail) again. :D

*hands Liz a cookie*

That hit the spot. :D

ATTENTION LIZARD #1 (or whatever) AND ANY OTHER SONY FANBOYS:

Resistance: Fall of Man is NOT a Halo-Killer. Not even a Gears of War-killer.

Don't make me post that stupid costume pic.

Halo is not a:

Half Life Killer
Resistance Fall of Man Killer
Gears of War Killer
Killzone Killer

Killzone is not a:

Half Life Killer
Resistance Fall of Man Killer
Gears of War Killer
Halo Killer

Gears of War is not a:

Half Life Killer
Resistance Fall of Man Killer
Gears of War Killer
Killzone Killer

Resistance is not a:

Half Life Killer
Killzone Killer
Gears of War Killer
Halo Killer

Half Life is not a:

Killzone Killer
Resistance Fall of Man Killer
Gears of War Killer
Halo Killer

Here's why. Because each of these FPS franchises, which is what they are, are all unique and different enough to be sucessful in their own right. Nothing is ever going to kill these games because they are all very distinct, and distinct from one another. Even if you made an Halo Killer that out Halo'd Halo, if that were at all possible, you aren't going to kill Halo with it, not in this day and age wherre these types of games are so advanced. Each game offers its own unique 'world'. This isn't like the old days when mechanics were so rough on FPS console games that a game that did those mechanics better can really kill the previous king.

Halo is a world, it is a fiction, and it is very distinct fromthe other FPS games mentioned

Half Life is a world, it is a fiction, and it is very distinct from the other FPS games mentioned

Killzone is a world, it is a fiction, and it to is very distinct from the other FPS games mentioned

Resistance, same thing, even though it harkens to a lot of elements seen in some of the best FPS games ever made, ultimately it is apparently unique enough to stand on its own according to people who have played it.

Gears, same deal. (I got tired of typing)

No game is suddenly going to come out that is a 'killer' to any of these games because in this day and age of complexity in games a games sucess is determined by its own unique flavor, how well it's designed and plays, and the market conditions. You aren't going to kill Halo by offering people a clone that's 'better then halo' you just can't do that, because to create a good FPS that has popularity you have to offer a unique twist, something new to some degree, not just a clone of an already popular franchise.

These are all good games, these are all games that people are going to have preferences over, but they're all very different from one another, and none of them kills the other. The market is sort of past that kind of thing.

I expect a lot of lol Killzone posts :cmad:

I applaud that. :D Finally someone understands, I wasn't saying Resistance killed Gears of War and Halo I just had a better time with Resistance than Gears of War and Halo. Jesus Christ why are my posts always misunderstood.

And Farmer fan, what stupid costume picture. :(

It wasn't my chimera costume was it, cause I thought that thing was bad ass:cmad:
