question, do the humans just wipe themselves out and the apes survive? Intelligent or not, I just don't understand how and endangered species overtakes a population of 7 billion.

Movielord you need to remove that video now.

The way it was explained in the original series was....after the apes revolted and fled from the majority of humans, there was a nuclear war that killed off most of humanity and the apes slowly gained control.

I don't know how they will do it for this movie though. They have never been real consistant with the storyline. The 5th movie, BATTLE, suggested that the actions in it changed time and the events that Heston crashed into in the first movie never happened. In the 3rd movie, ESCAPE, they say that a plague killed off all dogs and cats which lead to the humans bringing in apes for pets which started the problem....but in the TV series when the astronauts crash in the future, the first ape that finds them is out playing with his dog at the time.

Thats what I thought, I was just wondering if anyone knew if this film touched on that at all.

Also the whole "world without cats and dogs" thing always made me laugh even when I was a little kid. Althought I must say, other than the 1st Conquest is my absolute favorite. I've always liked the story, and Caesar speech at the end is awesome if you ignore the last part that the studio made them tack on. Also I've always thought that it was awesome, though completely rediculous that it took place in 1991, the year I was born.

Thanks for the GIFs, kane .

this movie looks very creepy, i can only imagine what I do if this would happen. I would get a bunch of bannana's to bribe them and pray they let me live.

Awesome video!,WETA is truly amazing and I really feel this could end up being a much better movie than I first expected&imagined.

Visuals-Double Check!
Cast-Check!
Concept&Story-Check!
Characters/Writing&Direction-Pending!!!

Really can't wait for the teaser!,Beneath&Conquest are my favorite POTA sequels and I kinda enjoyed Burton's But this may very well end up being my fav. after the original!

Maybe the scene with the leaves falling and the people in shock is cause of something going on with the world besides the Apes!?!?

Or maybe theres a ****load of apes hanging in the trees looking for bananas. :awesome:

The behind-the-scenes featurette was great. I'm really excited to see the trailer tommorow.

what's up with the interviewer's left eye brow, man? i know his eyebrow isn't paralyzed because he moves it several times. he could be the nicest guy in the world, but it makes him look like a *****e...

...anywho, can't really say i'm too excited for this film just yet. i was actually excited for the remake with Mark (very disappointed with it though), but this one doesn't really strike me. hoping the trailer will turn me on.

The first person to make a "Stop the Planet of the Apes, I Want to Get Off" joke is banned from seeing the film for the first three weeks.

Ugh. That show. :o

Some people just don't appreciate legitimate the-a-ter. :csad:

That third concept art picture made me choke on my drink laughing.

The concept arts are amazing, especially the fifth and the sixth concept art.

I'm almost convinced, APEvatar is going to be amazing.

The bridge scene is going to be epic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
