Roguish charm... The Flash Rouges Thread.

I think they're loosening their grip in regards to that

 

Jeff Snieder also hearing Rogues will be the villains for the Flash movie.

Two members in paticular he's hearing are Golden Glider and Captain Cold

 

For a solo film, Reverse Flash has to be main villain surely, given history and back story tie in.

 

I think you build up to Reverse Flash like wait till a Flash 2 to introduce him.

 

Yeah, I don't know if I'm all that interested in Reverse Flash being the first up. He was the first big bad of the series and is still in the mix. Switch things up a bit.

 

I've come around to Walton Goggins for Captain Cold.

 

David Harbour was in Suicide Squad. Rest of the casting choices are cool though.

 

Given we know Reverse Flash exists in the DCEU now, who would people cast in the role ?

 

Gyllenhaal, if he'd do it. He gets weirdly picky about what he will and won't do do these days though, but after Life....

I think a cool idea to use the Rogues and still have an over arching plot involving the Reverse Flash would be if Reverse Flash gave the Rogues their weapons from the future.

Almost all of the Rogues are tech based:

Captain Cold- Futuristic cold gun
Heat Wave- Futuristic heat gun
Mirror Master- Futuristic mirror warping tech
Weather Wizard- Futuristic weather manipulating wand
Trickster- Futuristic themed explosives, tricks etc.
Captain Boomerang- Futuristic boomerangs

Reverse Flash could come back and arm them with dangerous high level tech weapons even from his time (or maybe they could have stolen it). Would be a simple way to explain all the rogues origins at once while not distracting from the main plot

 

For Captain Cold I would go with Michael C Hall

Heat Wave definitely Walton Goggins gets my vote

Mirror Master I would go with Jonny Lee Miller as well so we definitely agree on that

Golden Glider I again agree with you on Rebecca Ferguson

Weather Wizard Timothy Olyphant I don't have a problem with either because he can definitely play great villains especially if you have seen him in Live Free or Die Hard

Jai Courtney returning as Boomerang makes sense given Suicide Squad and the first time he and Flash crossed paths

Jackie Earle Haley as Captain Cold.

Gotta get all the Watchmen in the DCEU!

 

Adam Driver Kylo Ren himself would be my pick as Reverse Flash

 

If we get Vaughn, Fassbender would make a tremendous Reverse Flash/Thawne

 

Side note, does anyone else think the real rogue of this forum is the spelling mistake in the title? Annoys me every time lol.

Yeah Adam driver would make an interesting reverse flash. Interesting chemistry with Ezra's flash too I bet

 

Exactly and Adam Driver has never been in a CBM so him playing a villain especially Reverse Flash would be yet another breakout role for him
