Nope. They're forecasting (basically, it's just an educated prediction right now) a $1.3 billion loss.

So yeah, some people are gonna get fired.
That is for the fiscal year.

The $200m number comes from the fact that they announced today that their losses are going to be $200m worse then they predicted.

That's even worse. That's from January to April. You don't lose 1.3 billion dollars in 4 months and move on.
Don't think so. That would be for the fiscal quarter.

Anyone help me out? Where does the 450 million budget number come from.

if this movie doesn't do that while in the box office does anyone think that they may delay the amazing spider man 3 and bring in a new derecter or new wrighters or something? I know some people have said that noal's movies are to dark for spider man. But form what I have heard he has done like 10 movies and 3 are consider great and like 2 are consider really good and like 4 good and one ok so he has a great track record has not one of his movies has been consider below average.

You're right. The word fiscal threw me off. Still, though. No bueno.
Oh yeah, its horrible. They won't even be making money off the the new Playstation until next year. They don't have the software and are still making a loss of every console sold.

Tobey's also mad at the RT.

Also I have seen the photo before and I never knew this was Tobey.

Lord and Miller are a pleasing directing suggestion for a Spider-Man movie.

Wow. That was a post...I'll try and answer, if I understood.

They might. This film would have to do pretty piss poorly for them to go that route but it's not impossible. And yes, Nolan has an excellent track record. As in, no bad film kinda track record. But he'll NEVER touch Spider-Man. Ever. So...let's ditch that idea.

You know who would be a great director for Spider-Man?

Some guy, not sure if you've heard of him before called Christopher Nolan.

they already tried a chris nolan style with the first movie and judging by the trailers they're going for an avengers look for this movie by making it super colorful. I think for the third movie they will go for a matrix look by having a green tint.

People are adding the two numbers we got from Deadline together. $255 million for the production budget, $180-190 million for marketing.
