The Tumbler is not going to be sufficient for Batman if things are escalating in Gotham like Chris Nolan has said in recent interviews. He'll need something else more lightweight to carry him from a to b and a bike is certainly the best bet to do that. If push comes to shove a boat will come in handy as well.

Thats one of the things i love about Batman, he's got all these cool gadgets and vehicles at his disposal. Nolan is a huge Bond fan so i think i'll be satisfied in that department.

It is very pheasible and plausible to make motorcycles and with bullet proof windshields.

I didn'y mean that, yes it could have bulletproof windshields but that woudn't cover all the bike so what if he's shot at point blank range with a machine gun or pushed by a car? I mean I don't care if nolan does it, Iam not completely against the idea I just want them to do it in like you said a plausible way that also serves the story. I know that if he does it he will explained and evveryone will be satisfied.

All this 'based in a real world' context needs to be kept in the context that it's still a fantasy film. Real world or not I doubt we'd ever see a tank jumping roof tops but it worked in Begins...so why wouldnt a bike work too?
I think they could pull it off with flying colors and considering what they did with the Redbird bike...I know, B&R *yuk* but some of the things there were done right and even though that look of the bike is not suited for Bats, just look at how well they pulled that off then.
Now, today with Nolan....the look of Begins and the staple they're going with...

He will. Nolan has confirmed as much by saying something to the effect of "we already have a lot of the cast. We already have the batmobile" when discussing how the sequels start vs. begins will be easier due to completed items.

maybe the batmobile gets destroyed and he rides a prototypical bike towards the end. I don't like that idea, feels very schumacher-esque, i always hated how they'd upgrade towards the end of forever and B&R, like it's a video game with levels. DUMB.

hopefully- the tumbler won't be stolen or destroyed; he'll just have two rides that he takes depending on the occasion.

i think a bike would kick ass.

I don't know. If scooper drops this guy's name and this is legit it means 2 things. 1) this scooper is on that guy's **** list for revealing the info, 2) WB probably isn't happy that the guy showed pictures of the bike to someone without their permission

I took from that scoop that the bike is the basis for what TDK will have. I thought that's what the scooper meant.

I dunno.....after reading BATMAN YEAR 100.....I'm warmed up to the idea of Batman on a bike.

I agree with you, Schumcher was an idiot keep chaning the suit and the car in B&R. It was made to sell toys for kids and I hope if Tumbler is destroyed go with a Ferrari or something, if they have the motorcycle that could be Ferrari too.
