If you google "x-men apocalypse running time" it shows you 2 hours and 27 minutes.

Can anyone confirm that?

The film isn't even in the can yet.

I think the runtime for the movie is definitively 2 hours and 27 minutes. Movie theaters owners have to know this by now. Is only one month left for the rest of the world since the movie will be release in 19th of may in most countries leaving just a few for the 27th.

2hours/27 mins... that would definitely make it the longest X-Men film EVER!

I think it'll be around 130 minutes.

Definitely not.

Bryan Singer
"The cut’s a little long right now, but I think it’s going to be a longer X-Men movie. The X-Men movies I usually I keep under two hours, but this one I may actually let be a longer movie because it’s sort of a wrap-up of six movies. It’s kind of a wrap up of X-Men 1, 2, 3, First Class, Days of Future Past"

That can't be cause Singer said that would be the longest X-men movie and Days of Future Past is longer than 130 minutes.

His statement doesn't definitively say 100% it's going to be the longest movie, he said it "MAY" be the longest or he may let it wrong longer. For all we know, at this point after editing he could have certainly trimmed it down.

Singer said he doesn't usually like to go over a certain runtime but he "may" for X-men: apocalypse, but lets remember he cut rogue because he felt that stuff hurt the pacing of the movie so he won't push it to be longer if he feels it hurts the pace of the story

Its probably longer than X1/X3.

Well it doesn't take a rocket scientist to assume that. lol

And he was right on - the entire Rogue subplot while fun was completely superfluous. It doesn't add anything to the movie that isn't already there in the first place other than the actual Rogue character. Singer and Ottman know how to edit a movie!

I disagree. The Rogue Cut felt to me like a complete movie while the theater release felt incomplete.

There are too many good scenes in the Rogue Cut that shouldn't have being cut.

I'm afraid Singer might do that again and cut actually good scenes from Apocalypse to sell in dvd later.

The only scenes from the Rogue cut that should have been added, if any, were the scenes between Mystique and Beast because they were actually relevant to the characters and plot at the center of the movie. That's about it.

I wouldn't worry, I would think Singer knows he shouldn't repeat his mistakes and didn't add any extraneous subplots to this movie.

I don't want to start an argument about this cause I already talked about this in so many boards and topics but there are many many scenes that shouldn't get cut. I'll name just a few.

Having Iceman mention that Rogue was captured and still alive brought to the movie a feeling of continuity, like they didn't forget about her, but they just couldn't free her by their own. Iceman and his team were only running away from Sentinels before Xavier and his team arrive. They even mentioned that Magneto once tried to use Rogue for their own purposes.Free her to replace Kitty was a good choice, they had to do it. Kitty is not immortal, it felt forced that after being cut by Wolverine she was able to continue until the whole movie to end. Also, after the Rogue rescue there was a piece of the Sentinel stuck in the x-jet, thats how the Sentinels found them. The Rogue sub plot was essential to the movie and I have my sources that says that the real reason to get cut from the movie was cause Fox wanted more screen time for the movie in a day, so they had to reduce the running time of the movie, and for that they had to cut that sub plot and then they come out with the excuse of "making the movie slow".

The group talk about either or not to send Wolverine into the past. This scene in the Rogue Cut makes way more sense cause all characters shows real concern about the timeline and they just don't blindly send Wolverine into the past like they did in the theatrical cut.

We had some extra scenes showing how much Iceman and Kitty were in love.

The scene in Quicksilver house where they make sure for us to know that Peter has another sister. The mom tells the little girl to go play with her sister upstairs.

Seriously dude, I'm not going to get into this. The Rogue Cut is simply the best and should be the one on the theaters but Fox doesn't care for that and only cares for more screen times per day.

I hope so. I'm really hoping he this time get everything right.

You call relevant I call a scene that does a disservice to the two characters involved. And to the plot for that matter.

That would be the first thing I would cut from The Rogue Cut.

Apocalypse cant be longer than 149 min
the longest x-men movie is Rogue Cut (2 hours 29 minutes )

Well really bobby said all that was needed to be said "the sentinels will find us... they always do" just like they did at the start of the movie so having the whole arm thing pretty much says the sentinels wouldn't have found them if they hadn't tried to save rogue while with the theatrical cut it felt like they only had minimal time before the sentinels found them and they did.

I believe you're wrong, the arm stuck in the x-jet only helped the Sentinels to find them faster. Even if the arm wasn't stuck in the x-jet, eventually the sentinels would have found them. But the arm stuck helped to show that they didn't have a lot of time there. Without the arm stuck, we could imagine that maybe it would take a few days for the sentinels to find them. Just like in Russia, where they stayed there a few days before the sentinels to found them.
