Apocalypse Fox officially reveals the running time for this movie

Sure the XCU have next year Wolverine 3 and in 2018 Deadpool 2, but what about the next X-Men movie? They should know by now.

You really think, Kinberg, Singer, Fox or producers don't talk about future X Men movie? They could have some projects for the franchise but Fox isn't obliged to talk about that now. For exemple, Singer wanted to make trilogy in 60,70, 80 since FC. It was the plan.

Now, there are Wolverine 3, New Mutant, Deadpool 2 maybe Gambit but they will announce more things (officially) after XA.

Yeah. Even if he hands over the reins to another director for a film or two, when it comes time to do TDPS, I'm almost certain Singer will want his name on it.

Exactly.

They mess up the Phoenix Saga so bad in X3. Is watchable movie but there's just so many wrong things.

I think Singer is learning to be more accurate to the comics but I1ll reserve my judgement after seeing X-Men Apocalypse this year.

In this industry things always change. I mean look at Marvel since they announced their Phase 3 line-up, it was a nice and unique event and we get to see these logos.... however, since then a lot of dates have changed, Spider-Man gets his own movie, an Ant-Man sequel gets announced, Inhumans currently has no date, they also changed Doctor Strange's logo and soon Avengers 3/Avengers 4 will get a title change (which IMO is a good decision).

Then with Fox, Gambit keeps getting delayed... I think sometimes its better not to announce things so advance to the public.
 
I bought the ticket for the premiere night of movie at my local Cinema and there isn't information about the running time.
 
everything is pointing to them redoing pheonix/dark phoenix.with all the spin-offs and fact bryan singer is doing 20,000 leagues under the sea at fox don't be surprised if he does next X-men film after apocalypse.and i could even see after 20,000 leagies him doing 2 part film on pheonix.it's clear apoclaypse will be longest theatical release of X-Men film.

I'm glad you said longest theatrical release cause I was just remind you that The Rogue Cut is the longest X-Men movie of all time.:yay:

I'm just hoping for a proper Phoenix story and to finally see Cyclops being for the X-Men what Captain America is for the Avengers.

true on rogue cut being lonest X-Men film.

a lot on future remains to be seen.phoenix won't be cosmic although singer has defently hinted in collader set visit of in future doing phoenix with shiar and
going to moon.and cyclops as leader after xavier may depend if lawrence comes back.her new costumes at end of film along with money could bring
her back.

I wouldn't bank on a 2 parter since many said DOFP should been a 2 parter, many said apocalypse should been a 2 parte but that's not what we got, although if 2 parter means 2 different connected stories like DOFP to apoclaypse for example then maybe but splitting one story into 2 there certainly would have to be more added, presumably other comic book story elements that probably were not part of the Phoenix saga.
 
It's pretty simple. First part the M'kraan crystal shenanigans and second part Dark Phoenix and her trial. I don't know why you are dead-set against this happening.

Because comic book movies are progressing into bigger gimmicky stories now, BVS to justice league,civil war to infinity war and X-Men probably will obvious lt have to up itself from Apocalypse and that means there has to be a strong comic booky element to sell for each movie.

I ain't against it at all, i just know that there would be alot of other stuff thrown in also to give other characters subplot, maybe throw in villains like Mr sinister, just stuff that wasn't in the phoenix saga but is put into the story to change up things abit

with both wb and marvel doing 2 part films obvious fox is bound to try it.and remember singer was considering doing phoenix as two part film after x2 till his relationship with rothman led him to do superman returns instead.

justice league is being split into 2 and thats gonna be inbetween solo movies right? so there will be new dymanic by the 2nd movie, maybe new added characters like green lantern, while marvels cinematic universe is obviously gonna be crazy with characters by that point, guardians of the galaxy making their first cross over for example.

And It was a different time back in 2006 to now, that was before marvel started making movies.

Phoenix is just the story fox would do 2 films back to back to do.especilly since singer dropped hints on shiar and moon if they redid phoenix to colladar.
 
Singer said he would want to use Proteus also, was he part of the phoenix saga?
 
They could turn proteus into villain to trick jean against X-men.proteus has reality wraping powers.proteus from comics was very different than when the animated series did him.

That would be a bad idea. Proteus should get his own story and not to mix up with the Phoenix
