I'm talking about without a vehical. In Just Cause 2 multi-level gameplay is just the push of a button. You can literally climb up mountans, it's awsome.
Prototype (a far inferior game) also has some decent multilevel gameplay. The later creatures will actually follow you up and around buildings.

Well in SR 3, you get hoverbikes that enable to you easily ascend any building, then with the tap of the button you can parachute down.

Yea, it's basically a plane. Alot of these open-world sandbox city type games tend to way over-look verticle type missions. For the most part, they tend to take place on the ground with the occasional chopper or plane mission. Grand Theft Auto 4 had a couple of roof missions but like most of it's missions, they were supremely boring.

Finished both endings, and I'm at level 48. I have a handful of activities to finish and most of the Saints Book to do. This game is a ton of fun and is unfortunately a bit short.

I finished the story but I still have the car thefts and various other trophies to get before Platinuming it. I also took my time with the story missions so it lasted me a good while. Ive already put in 30+ hours.

I'v played 12 hours and mostly been doing side missions to unlock stuff.

Still, a very easy game to complete, much easier than SR 2. When I finished the story, my completion percentage was already in the high 80's, without even trying too hard. I'm hoping for some robust DLC.

Saints Row 2 was SUCH a pain in the ass every time you had to grind rep. Which was often.

The whole gang territory and money thing would have made an interesting pvp multiplayer.

MP sucked in SR 2. Co-op is the best way to play these games, but they took away so many of the options from SR 2. Like a third of the diversions, clothing options, missions etc.

Where's the awesome Hot Fuzz missions or the Celebrity Bodyguard stuff?

Meh. All that stuff was only fun once or twice in SR2. I'm glad they didn't spend much time on it with this one.

They stripped away all the stuff that wasn't really fun, kept what was and added better activities. IMO of course. I do miss the customization and unique missions but all in all the game is solid. I hope they work on adding that stuff back in on the new game engine so they can bring everything back for the fourth. :]

And I wasn't too happy about grinding rep either, but, some missions are just activities in disguise so you're basically grinding rep anyway. And missions that are nothing but a cutscene? C'mon!!

You think those activities were only fun a few times but they were a million times better than things like Heli-assault or drug trafficking. Also, instead of giving you more types of activities, they simply give you more instances of the same types. A wasted oppurtunity.

I got the season pass so I just hope they add in more activities and co-op diversions like they did in SR 2. I really missed co-op stunt diversions, that was a lot of fun, as was fight club. It seems like a huge oversight that they overhaul the combat system and make it loads more fun but take away the fight club.

The grind in Saints Row 3 feels satisfying to the point that it's been fully enjoyable no matter what I was doing or getting rewarded with.

The only missions that got frustrating for me in SR3 was the Escort one. And that was only because often times the prostitutes would be killed by a rampaging brute or by me accidentally backing over them.

My plan for this game was to rent it by Gamefly and so I didn't keep up with it until I just got it by mail But then TV spots kept popping up and it interested me and so I had decided to buy it on black friday..But it ended up in regular prize!!

Got gift certificates to Best Buy for christmas and so finally went to go buy the game friday night..Which for some reason was $20 off,Been hooked and kinda mad I didn't get it on release day!!

This game is FUN with the capital F that it's Just Cause 2 level of fun&addicting,I love GTA IV But compared to this is pretty ****** now and so I hope 5 can go to this level or even beyond some-how!!

How's the DLC packs?,I'm thinking of getting the Explosive gameplay pack and maybe Invisibility!

The shark gun and the explosive packs are fine, the others depend on how interested you are in the costumes.

Don't get the invincibility pack, the cheats disable achievements (for you and any co-op partner, thus why I have to kick most of the people who try to join my game) and you can easily get to a point in the vanilla game where you are unstoppable.

Yeah, the shark gun is hilarious. I bought every piece of DLC just coz I love the game so much and the only piece of clothing I care for are the space pants. Coz I play as a chick. Dat ass. The grenade launcher and bling shotty are pretty sweet too but I don't use them much. It's just too much fun setting people on fire with the SMGs or blowing up helicopters with the pistols hahah.

The invincible pack is ok, but I'm pretty sure the only cheat exclusive to it is the one that gives your car super weight. I think it's dirty that they're charging for cheats, but there are still a ton of free ones you can put in and it's only a couple bucks.

I haven't bothered with DLC, it seems pretty poor to me.
They seem to be just trying to string it out for every penny.
