After Marvel Studios' Secret Invasion, Nick Fury's adventure continues in Marvel Studios' The Marvels.

Very happy to see more of SLJ with this and Secret Invasion. I was disappointed that he didn’t get at least a cool line or 2 in Endgame.

Sigh. I'm thinking of what to say about Fury but I don't know if its just this movie or Marvel Studios simply just don't know what to do with him anymore. 2008 to 2023 is such a long period of time to keep a supporting character interesting and Fury isn't an interesting character to begin with. The best thing I can describe to his role in this film is, he was just there. Someone for Monica, Carol and Kamala to have conversation with.

Also, iirc, there's nothing in this that requires people to watch Secret Invasion which is a positive thing. But in the end, I think Fury has overstayed his welcome.

i enjoyed Fury in this one. He was so somber and morose in Secret Invasion that it was nice to see more life in him this time around
