Sandman

As I said before, without Sandman, then the revenge storyline wouldn't be as good as it would be with Sandman. Peter wants revenge on Flint Marko/Sandman for accidentally shooting his Uncle Ben, but Aunt May says that revenge is like a poison and that it can turn us into something ugly. If Sandman wasn't in it, then it would be just Harry forgiving Peter for the death of Norman Osborn. Sandman makes it so that Peter learns a lesson as well, which is not to let revenge take over.

That theme coudl have been easily re-worked with Peter wanting revenge on Harry for crippling his relationship with MJ...with influence from the black suit of course.
In any event, the idea of revenge and forgiveness could have been preserved while reworking the story no prob.

I find it hard to believe that losing his relationship with MJ would push Peter to the brink of murder.

I said the revenge them could be preserved not murder. And I also said he would be operating under the influence of the suit....He almost killed Harry in the movie as is.

Why is he an idiot to break the law to try and save his daughter's life? Would you not steal money to save your kid if you could not get it by honest methods?

I'm not saying what Sandman did was morally right, but you can understand his plight.

I believe he is because he's not helping his daughter if he gets locked up...which WILL happen 99.9% of the time. Which, of course, DID happen. Then he gets super powers and robs an armored car. In day light. As a giant cloud of sand.

In a city celebrating a friendly neighborhood superhero who just last week took on a guy with 4 metal tentacles and before that, a high flying psycho.

Go Flint Go! =)

Life's tough and reality is reality. The 'I'm not a bad person I just make bad choices' is just a really really WEAK motivation for a character.

But the only reason he put the suit on in the first place was because he wanted to kill Marko.

which is stupid because they should of just had the darkness take over anyway.

I don't know this movie had too many flaws for what I say to make sense.

Maybe you can just try to enjoy the film for what it is and try not to nitpick everything? It's just a movie, whats done is done, get over it.

.......

Yeah, I can't really argue with this, either :oldrazz:

Okay, I hate that I like this movie, okay, that's my problem.
