I'm surprised that this hasn't been posted yet. Hot Toys hhas unveiled its Black Widow figure. As with all Hot toys figures, it is an uncanny likeness of the actress in costume.

Her body type might not be exactly replicated, but the face is spectacular.

The gifs were made from the Assembling The Avengers featurette in The Avengers Blu-Ray extras. There was a section about all of the films that led up to TA. That shot was in the Iron Man 2 section.


I remember back when IM2 was in production, Favs said on a blog or something that when ScarJo first hit the set in her catsuit the entire crew watched her. Some fans on the front page here went on about she wasn't all that, nobody would have cared, he was exaggerating, etc. Sometimes it seems like every actress isn't all that attractive and every actor's body isn't muscular enough, from the fans' perspective.

Very nice, will have to pick this up for my collection. Spot on detail, if only they could make the doll hair look less like....well, doll hair.

Personally,I prefer her look in Iron Man 2 to Avengers.It'd be nice if they return to that look in the future.

Although I think I prefer the ponytail look to the cascade of ringlets that was in Iron Man 2, I really can't emphasise enough how much I prefer the shorter, more vibrant red hair from Avengers. It's almost certainly more to do with how Johansson portrayed the character than the look, but I think it did help in establishing a sense of ruthless pragmatism. (That looks really silly written down, doesn't it?).
