I think the shot of Batman saying "then you're gonna love me" was shown in one of the TV spots or the Dominoes Pizza trailer. It was not edited that way for the final cut distrubuted to theatres in July.
That's strange. The movie I saw had Batman as a peeing robot and the Joker as a foreign man with a mustache traveling the United States. He had a fat friend named Harvey Dent.
Also in the cut I saw saw he said "Like my mother always said". Everyone knows every theater in the world gets a different cut.
with the trailers in mind, I do believe that they may sound a bit different because perhaps they brought in a voice actor as Heath was already gone by the time the second trailer debuted.
The part where Nurse Joker was startled by the bomb going off. I remember him being a bit more frightened and the scene lasting a few more seconds in theaters than it did on DVD.
Ok let me clear this up!!!! The only 2 cuts of the film that exist are the theatrical cut and the IMAX cut, it has been acknowledged by the Editor that there is one shot in the movie that is cut differently in each version. Now... if you have the blu ray, it should mirror the IMAX cut of the movie, and the rgular dvd should mirror the Theatrical cut of the movie. This may be the reason why people seem to have seen differences however im certain it has nothing to do with a Line of dialogue and more to do with a shot being edited differently.
They didn't use a voice actor. My friend who works in sound (although not on TDK's production) told me Heath was finished with the ADR, after speaking directly with someone on TDK. There's a Latino Review interview with Heath in early November 2007 where he says he's done.with the trailers in mind, I do believe that they may sound a bit different because perhaps they brought in a voice actor as Heath was already gone by the time the second trailer debuted.
It might have been me.The one different shot is when Alfred is burning the letter at the end. The shot comes in differently in the theatrical version when compared to the IMAX version. I'm pretty sure someone confirmed this, but I can't remember who.
Noooo! I totally remember seeing this goofy ass shot of Batman in the film saying "...you're gonna love me."I think the shot of Batman saying "then you're gonna love me" was shown in one of the TV spots or the Dominoes Pizza trailer. Robin is on the DVD version. In fact, the whole movie is about him.
