I feel the same way, at least in regards to the Nolanverse. Singer's Superman and Burton's Batman felt like they could coexist with other superheroes, and GL probably will too; Nolan's Batman not so much. It's the curse of the realism.

You have a point. Perhaps if the franchise and its continuity go on under another director who will ease up on the realism?
