Yeah, that's nice that lots of folk on the site are enjoying the movie, just as long as that doesn't turn into ganging up on someone who does not like the movie, then that will remain nice.
and yeah, ok, I did not realise ISS was only talking about not liking the look of the trailer and tv spots, but that makes no difference, folk all ganging up on her and calling her a troll cause she made her opinion known was out of order. If folk can come in and say they are excited after seeing the trailer, folk have the right to say the opposite.

Bullets, can you explain to me the
We're on time! quote that I seem to be missing or not understanding lol
?

Ok guys, rank the Scream films!

Scream
Scream 4
Scream 2 & 3 are tied for me now.

Scream
Scream 4
Scream 2
Scream 3

Anyone think this movie has room for a fifth?

For some reason, Sidney gave me the vibe that she was losing it at the end. She just lays next to Jill.

It's kind of weird because I don't think they are estimating the cops arrival. It's like saying they filmed the murders and everything has to fit in the time frame of the film they are making.weird

CrypticOne I think that was intention..........for uh, obvious reasons lol.

I think that was to further the parallel that Sidney = Jill, though Sidney's ''I feel better" line was weird.

Exactly. Thats what weirded me out about that scene.

Jill was badass though.

So they're saying that not knowing when the cops will arrive but that they're arrive when its all over anyway................? Which I guess is a standard horror movie cliche that they were biting at haha.

I love that Gale still got to kind of solve it too. ''How does she know that I have the same wound?"

I think my only problem with the movie is the opening. While it was good. I feel it isn't quite as good as Scream's or Scream 2's. As much as I love the Stab cameos. I feel like I would've cut them all together, even as hilarious as Kristen and Anna were together and given us more time to get to know the two real girls.

I'm pretty surprised that so many people seem to think it's better than 2.

In the first two films, just about all the deaths atleast some emotional resonance, in this movie it just felt like everything was played for slapstick comedy. Anderson and Knudson's deaths in particular felt like they were lifted out of an SNL parody of Scream.

The opening was some of the funniest stuff I've seen in a theater in a long time, so I can kinda forgive it as silly as it was, but for the most part I thought the humor went WAY too over the top to the point where it felt almost nothing like an actual horror film.

Emma did a pretty good job of playing a whacked out psycho, and Sidney taking her down...twice were some pretty cool cheer moments, but I didn't like much else about it.

I wish we would have got to see Marnie getting chased and killed. It had that awesome "Your not real..." line and had a bloody GF mask. I wonder why the opted for the one we saw tonight? It seems neutered and to tame compared to what we were teased with in the trailers.

I felt more emotionally invested in these characters than the ones from Scream 3 for sure. So I was sad when Robbie and Kirby both died and I felt bad for Trevor, because I knew he wasn't going to be one of the killer's as it was too close to the original. He seemed like a fairly decent guy for the most part. Anderson shouldn't have gotten that ''**** Bruce Willis" line though.

I thought the two killer method in Stab 6 was awesome but then we find out that may be time travel .. ah well. Original was the best opening.

An awesome moment in my theater was when Sidney gets hit on the balcony.. a lot of people gasped like she got stabbed.

One of the things I didn't like about this one, was Anthony Anderson. I mean, he's a cool actor. He's awesome in The Shield, but in this, he took me outta Scream. Especially his dying line. That was ridiculous.

I found Trevor to be a pretty unlikable jerk, Kirby's death was pretty well done though.

But I wasn't really talking so much about the characters anyway as the way their deaths were handled.

I was a little disappointed Hoss was out of the film just like that.. he seemed underused. Anderson's death was cool I thought, it had everyone in the theater laughing for better or worse.

Trevor just seemed like your typical high school hot guy to me. Misunderstood, but I do think he was telling the truth when he said he loved Jill. The ***** was just a psychopath.

I thought Anderson got a nice send out, I just think he shouldn't have had the ''**** Bruce Willis." line. The knife to the forehead, the blood everywhere, the lingering Ghostface (Jill) in the background. The shot and set up of the scene was great. It was just that comedy line that messed me up.

As for Robbie plea of being gay. I thought that was just him being a film nerd. It sounded like something Randy would've said and did. It was similar to Randy's ''I never thought I'd be so glad to be a virgin." but turned on it's heel.

U know I could of actually seen them going with the Jill getting away with it storyline and spanning it out for the next 2 movies. However since they pretty much killed Jill in the hospital it makes me wonder where do they go from here?

Overall though I thought the movie was badass. it was the perfect way to say remakes suck and as Sidney would say don't **** with the orginal

BTW Does anybody have any crowd reports on how crowded was the theater u saw the movie in. Mine was sold out

Mine was maybe half full, they planned two screens but didn't need the second one.

Not dead, but I was expecting to be pretty packed and it wasn't.
