yea some people laughed for"**** Bruce Willis!"and I chuckled But my fav funny AA moment was"oh sh**t"and slapped his forehead with tons of blood coming out.
The f*** Bruce Willis part had me laughing so bad I had to hold it in for the next 5 minutes, lol. It was a great scene, IMO.

Scream 4's Ghostface does not unravel anything or feel forced. It'll shock you...that's for sure. :oldrazz:

I am glad Jill was ghostface and I thought it worked fine, however I didn't find it surprising. I knew halfway through Scream 4 that Jill was one of the killers. If you think about it... she was the only character with any motivation. Deputy Judy was merely a plot device to add tension to Dewey and Gale's marriage...none of Jill's friends had any motivate (Kirby as the killer? her motivate would of been totally out of left field and very forced if that would have occurred)... there was no way it was Trevor (too obvious)...the white/black cops as the killers would of been lame... the original trio (Sid, Dewey, Gale) can't be the killers....if you think about it, no one was left to be the killer besides Jill and the two geeky film freaks. So it was going to be Jill and one of them, or both of them. The only other person I thought at one point could be the killer was Sid's aunt/Jill's mom, because she mentioned "I have scars too" and she could of had the same motivation as Jill (living under the shadow of Sid's whack-out mom who was made famous by being murdered, etc.)... but Jill was the more interesting and fun choice, not her mom...and then her mom got killed, so she was no longer an option. All in all, Scream 4's main killer (Jill) was great, but I wouldn't call it shocking at all. For me, Craven/Williamson didn't do much to point fingers at anyone other than Jill

I just loved how
brutal Ghostface was in this film.

Agreed. I figured it was Jill and one of the film club kids about half way through the movie. Trevor and Judy were obvious red herrings. By the time Jill disappeared from her room, I figured it would be her. As for the film club kids, I wasn't sure which it would be until, well....the one died.

Kind of the reason that I thought Jill should've won and killed Sidney, maybe get revealed by Gale in the hospital and then killed by her and Dewey. Jill earned the kill. Eventually Neve Campbell isn't going to want to play Sidney anymore. When that day comes, she will be killed. I would've preferred it to be Jill who pulled it off than some contrived mastermind character revealed in Scream 6, like Roman.

It all depends on how Scream 5 goes if it gets made, but I do agree. I'd rather a killer like Jill who was well written get the Sidney kill than someone less deserving. I'm glad Sidney survived, but I don't know if Neve's going to want to do 2 more of these things if they're successful enough.

She doesn't seem so hesitant on Scream 5 though. She replied ''YES!" real quick like.

^^
True. Well, either way, I'm excited. I think the direction 5 & 6 will go will be great. I mean, Jill seemed to be the closest to getting away with the murders, so who knows what's in store for us.

I was thinking what if the killer in the next one idolizes Jill similar to how Mickey hailed Billy and Stu, but the killer legit thinks Sidney killed a hero like Jill? I don't know. I have no clue where 5 or 6 go.

^^
It's possible, but yeah, at this point I have no idea where they are going to go with this.

Now too badScream 3 got in the way because this film would have been the perfect bookend to the trilogy . I loved it

I think Jill maybe my favorite killer , and I have to give Emma Roberts credit fot going against typecast and pulled it out wonderfully. Kirby's death though painful was brillantly handled as the first reveal .Truly a cold moment , as a lot of people really were pulling for Charlie and Kirby and groaned when Trevor interrupted a few minutes before . I kinda of find it ironic that the killers were play by Julia Roberts niece and Mac's brother and the motive was to be more famous than the relative .... . Easily my favorite sequels the killers werent as contrived as the previous sequels . I loved it

^^
Yeah, about the kirby part. I heard alot of gasps in the theater I was in when she got stabbed.

Something that didn't make sense in the movie that I'm just remembering now:

Gale: “Any comment on the fact that the murders seem to resemble the pattern of the original Woodsboro murders?”

Is it me or was that just not the case at all in this film? What made them think that this was patterned after the original murders?

For one thing two girls were murdered, instead of a couple, followed by Olivia ( I believe), instead of a Himbry type victim.

I think after this we may need to create a whole new thread poll for the hottest pre-credits chick in the franchise.

The only way that line makes sense is if she means two people got killed (doesn't have to be a couple) and then someone got gutted .. I think Himbry was gutted ..can't remember. It's a bit of a stretch because there was an actual pattern in Scream 2

I think Robbie explained that in the film club class.

Two teens killed while parents aren't home (Casey and Steve), the school's resident hot chick killed (Olivia = Tatum.) I think the line really should have been ''Patterned after the original Stab movie."

Williamson said he mapped out an entire trilogy. . That's really interesting because I couldn't see them topping this one

I was just discussing this with someone and I have no clue where 5 or 6 would even go. All the ideas I think of are either dumb or kinda play off what Scream 2 already did anyways.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see. When would they officially anounce Scream 5 anyway?

Most likely after they see how well this one does this weekend or next weekend. I think Wes and Kevin already have a contract for the next one locked in. It'd probably just be a matter of getting the survivors back.

Honestly if they do a part 5
Its time to kill off the trio . Syd should either die in the opening act or be the killer because she looks beat after this film , and her line to Jill at the end was a little odd.

Well, call me excited then. Here's hoping everybody signs on.

To do Vampire Diaries. He's still credited as the only writer of Scream 4 and gave it a shout out on his Twitter yesterday.
